We stayed 4 nights here being close to Gare Du Nord. It deserves full stars in all categories. Room was simple modern design, meticulously clean. Bathroom, wifi were excellent. Everything works. (Power plug was above the table - not under). Extra mention to the staff - All were friendly helpful and always a smile. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My partner booked this for our stay in Paris because it was close to the Eurostar station and lucked out. This place is wonderful! It's small but every inch is used so well. The room felt so much larger than it was, especially the bathroom (shower and toiletries were excellent). It is a very quick walk from Gare Du Nord or Gare de l'est. Some people might be put off by the location, but it's very well serviced with lots of good restaurants and easy transport, and a great market nearby (Saint Quentin). We walked to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Champes Elysee - they're not "close" but if you're walking fit it's a great way to see the city. The staff are super helpful and friendly too. One of my favourite things was buffet breakfast - it's deceptively large for a small space. In addition to the standard continental fare, there's also bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. Coming back after a long day walking, the coffee machine was free 24/7 and the dining area was a nice place to sit, as was the courtyard. Overall an exceptionally good hotel and a great base for seeing the city whether it be for a weekend or a week or more.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hor Europe. We spent 4 nights at the hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. Arriving by the Eurostar from London at the Gare Du Nord the hotel is extremely convenient as you can actually see the hotel from the station. This means that upon arrival in Paris you can be checked in and then out exploring within a few minutes of your arrival. It also means that when you are leaving you can get to the station very quickly. The staff were all very friendly and professional and the hotel was very clean and the room was very quiet. The room included ac/heat so we were comfortable no matter what the weather. The hotel also provides complimentary coffee, tea, water, etc. For an additional fee you can have breakfast, which appeared to be priced in line with other hotels that we had considered. We did not try this, but the breakfast buffet looked good with pastries, sliced meats, cereal, pancakes, etc. However, you can save a bit of money as there is a small shop next door to the hotel, a slightly larger grocery store just down the street, and a patisserie and cafe across the street. Grab something from these shops and save yourself a little bit of money by making your own breakfast, grabbing a free drink at the hotel and enjoying it in the quaint courtyard of the hotel before you start exploring Paris for the day. The only concern I would have if my travel plans were not certain would be that when we booked the hotel (and this may have been the site we used and not the hotel itself) the booking was non-refundable.
