Excelent Location a few metres from the Chatelet-Les Halles RER station, sorrounded by restaurants and bars. Rooms are small but confortable, bathroom very clean. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is basic but good.

Hotel Agora is located on a quiet street just off St Germain in the Latin Quarter. 5 minutes from the Seine and Notre Dame, 1 block from the Metro and surrounded by great restaurants and bars. This is my second stay and I want to be very forthright - Hotel Agora is a typical European 3 star hotel with small...

This hotel is great. Very well located in the centre of Paris just 130metres from the RER B train line which connects direct to Charles De Gaulle airport. Trains every 8 mins for ten Euro. Hotel is very clean with very nice helpful staff. Despite being a 2 star it is comfortable and has good facilities for its rating. I...

Very nice little hotel. Good value for money and terrific location for both the metro and a lot of the main attractions. Would recommend this for couples on mini breaks more than anyone else. Probably a bit loud at night from the nearby bars if you have very young children.

I have been warned of matchbox size rooms in Paris but this one takes the cake. This hotel did not have electricity when we checked in. Instead of helping us front office person was rude and arrogant for two days for reasons best known to himself. Instead of making life bit more pleasant , any request was met with arrogance...

We mainly selected this hotel as it was accessible to many attractions. Another plus was there was a nearby metro stop to take the RER train to the airport. The hotel room was small as was to be expected. The main cons are that the room lacked a safe and the elevator was so tiny only one person with a...

We stayed here for three nights. The rooms are small, the lift is tiny and the decor is a little dated - but it is great value for money. We went there expecting less than what we got. There is no aircon and it can be a bit noisy with the window open but we asked for a fan and...

Hotel Agora is in the perfect location for first time Paris visitors. We were just a short walk to the closest train station, St Michel, which was also on the direct line from the Airport. All of the popular tourist sites are within 20 minutes of Hotel Agora by public transport - Eiffel Tower, Lourve, Arc de Triomph, Notre Dame...

My husband and I have just spent 3 nights at this hotel, is in a great location near Metro stations and Notre Dam Cathedral, a 10 minute walk to Pantheon and Luxembourg Gardens. Many cafes and restaurants close by including the Latin quarter. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. This is our second stay here....

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
