Hotel's Favorite
Extremely clean hotel a few steps from Gare du Nord entrance. Ideal for an early start on Eurostar. Free coffee and drinks available in lobby. Lift available. Comfortable bed and good facilities. Ask where to find kettle and TV remote in the room - not immediately obvious

Responded Mar 16, 2020
Dear AJ 6655, Thank for taking a little of your time to share your experience at the Whistler, Paris. It is a pleasure you felt comfortable in your "Cabine". We are glad you enjoyed our service from the coffee machine, free for guest indeed, as well as our Honesty bar with soda, beer and even sprits. We are sorry you had to "investigate" to find the remote control but for any futur stay, the reception remains available dialing 9 on the phone 24 hours per day. kind regards, Gilliane,

Pros: the location is second to none, almost directly opposite Gare du Nord. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was modern, clean, and had great water pressure. We had breakfast delivered directly to our door due to coronavirus, and it was a nice, simple continental breakfast. Cons: First, the room was compact, and the bed was very short. I am 5'5 and my feet were off the end of the bed. Second, inconsistency of service. We were asked what time we wanted our breakfast in advance; we said 9am for the first two nights, and it arrived at 9:20 and 9:35 respectively - and after they had to call, both times, to clarify the order again. The next morning we asked for 7:30am, as we had booked at slot at the Louvre and wanted to take into account the risk of another long delay. Instead, they arrived at 7:25. So, there you go. Second, there was no water in the room on two occasions when we were told there would be, which wouldn't normally have been a problem but for the extreme weather conditions. Third, the state of the room. The cleaning service was great, but the blind was broken so it was permanently closed, making the room quite dark, and part of the headboard was coming off the wall. Verdict: it's hard to know what part of our experience was due to staff having to adjust to coronavirus conditions and not being fully prepared for it. But I will say that it did not come across as a 4-star hotel. We were staying here essentially as a test for our parents for when they come later in the year, to see if we would recommend it. At first, we thought 'definitely'. By the third day, we thought 'Probably not.' Particularly as my dad is very tall. He just wouldn't fit on that bed.

Hii, just wanted to say how amazing my stay was at this hotel. I honestly feel like it could not be faulted. When I arrived I was a bit taken back by the area and thought I’d made a huge mistake - anyway I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel it’s self is small, which I thought was nice. It’s very clean, the rooms are lovely. Must say the shower and the bed were both fantastic! There was a choice of breakfast brought to the room (because of Covid I think) but that suited me just fine.... I’m not going to complain about having breakfast in bed lol. I’ll give a little mention to the staff who were all so friendly and helpful. I don’t normally leave to many reviews but felt this hotel deserved a good one. I would definitely return to the hotel as I said before I could not fault it. Thank you :)

I spent 1 night in Paris, passing through. This hotel was exactly what I was looking for - clean, super well placed (100m from the Gare du Nord) which is ideal when you're loaded with luggage, comfortable. My only regret is not having the time to enjoy the Hammam provided on site.
