Paid just $48/night. Room on the back side of hotel was pretty quite, room is small but adequate. Our room had a glob of hair on the floor in the bathroom & 1 also in the bedroom..... the hair on the bedroom floor kept us company for the 3 days we stayed there. Clean linens were provided daily. The safe...

The only good thing about this hotel is that the rooms are large and the metro station and a carrefour are nearby. That's it. Hotel is located in the middle of the red light district in a very shady area. We were warned right left and centre to hold on to all of our stuff for dear life or it...

Started off well. Staff were lovely and happy to help out, including allowing us to use their fridge for medication. The breakfast was really nice as well. Positives, close to metro station, corner shops and Sacre Coeur. However, the room was a different story. One of the lamps on the wall next to the bed and the plugs for both...

Probably the worst hotel I have stayed in. Room was dirty (filthy), service very poor and the hotel does not have an air conditioner, so good luck if you stay there in your summer holidays. And dont get fooled by the free wifi - its "broken".

Very good position, metro station 5 min away, Carrefour across street , full of pubs in the area. Not recommended for people "sleep sensitive " . In weekends it's noisy . Breakfast is basic : croissants, coffee, tea , butter...nothing else . Overall a good budget choice .

Basic Accomodation in an excellent location. Very accessible, had no apprehension in moving around with family. Busy neigbourhood with lots of restaurants around. With teh Pigale station barely 100m away, very accessible from any part of the city

It is simple hotel but very clean and tidy! As you will stay just to sleep I believe that this will attend your necessities. Just one point, the coffeebreak is very weak! In summary, the hotel is good, I can say that you won't stay in the hotel because Paris has a lot of things to do and you will...

We booked here for one-night during a short visit to Paris (4 of us, 2 rooms) and found it ideal for what we wanted. Well located 5 minutes by taxi from Gare de Nord - a 10-12 minute walk up to Sacre Coeur and the good restaurants of Montmartre - 12 minutes in the other direction to La Opera. We...

I just returned from a trip to Paris and I stayed with my family for 7 days in this hotel. Before my trip, I looked very much for a cheap 3 stars hotel in Opera, with high score of the visitors’ comments and near to a metro station. I believed that in these standarts, it was the best choice and...

Traveling with a budget-minded friend who chose the hotel (not my choice). The neighborhood of Pigalle is a little seedy and the first impression of the lobby was it was hot and dark. Staff is friendly and helpful. The creaky elevator that holds only two average size people makes you feel claustrophobic. The first room we were assigned was Spartan...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
