Stayed here for a long weekend with a friend to visit Paris. Room quite small and double bed small but for the money it was ok. Only time we spent in there was at nighttime. Really close to gare du nord station, and lots of lovely little restaurants.

My sister and I have stayed at the Picardy three times now on recent trips to Paris - and I must say that I don't recognise the place from recent reviews. Yes, the rooms are small - but it's a budget hotel -what on earth do some people expect. As a base for exploring Paris it couldn't be more convenient.... More

Although close to Gare du Nor rail station it does not have any other redeeming features. It is rated two star so we we not really expecting luxury accommodation, but even the basicss were missing. Room was very small, even by European standards, toilet seat was broken, toilet door was unable to be used, shower was broken. Towels are delivered... More

The ceiling was coming down, the sliding door on the bathroom was broken and the floor was dirty. The room was damp, bedding also. Shower towels in the bathroom were wet. Hand towels damp. Power point wasn't usable. Asked to be moved to another room and was told that someone would come and fix the door within the hour -... More

This is the only hotel we have stayed in where we were asked to pay on arrival (which should have been an omen!) We were on the top floor (asked for a room lower down when booking). The ceiling was coming down, the sliding door on the bathroom was broken and the floor was dirty. The room was damp, bedding... More

This was the worst Hotel that I've ever stayed in. Please for your sake, stay away! The only thing good about this place is that its close to a train station. The area "Gare Du Nord" is not a safe place and there's a lot of robbers and criminals around ACCORDING to the local pharmacist. The staff was very unfriendly... More

Basically you really do get what you pay for. I stayed for two nights in a twin room with a friend. We wanted something cheap and no thrills - just a bed for the night as we were working long hours so wouldn't be spending any time there. It's directly opposite the Gare du Nord which is pretty convenient. To... More

The rooms clearly hadn't been properly cleaned in a while, the sheets and duvets looked suspicious, tatty and to be quite frank the whole decor of the room looked like my grandmas house. The wifi never worked when I stayed there. I woke up during the night thinking I was lying in the middle of the road because the noises... More

We stayed here for 23 nights and used it as a base to explore Paris and Disney. Worst hotel we've ever stayed in (and there have been some awful ones!) Couldn't close the window in the bathroom as the smell of mould was over powering, the shower was so filthy we didn't shower once (glad we had some wet wipes!)... More

All the reviews say how bad this hotel is. ALL wrong. Hotel staff very helpful all spoke good English and genuinely care about our safety around Paris. Room basic- exactly what I expected for the price. No bed bugs!!! Don't belief this! It's called nat bites or allergic reaction, DAM paranoid Europeans! Location is perfect- near euro star and 10...
