I stayed at Hotel La Sanguine last month and would recommend it. It is a small hotel, clean, and in an excellent location. Considering where it is located - the area of La Madeleine, not far from two Metro lines - the pricing is quite reasonable. Location, pricing, safety and quality are important to me. There is no elevator and... More

The hotel came in highly recommended by a dear friend and she was so fantastically correct about Hotel La Sanguine! The hotel is clean and perfectly located in the heart of Madeleine, with all the amenities, albeit small. But don't we all expect that from a place like Paris? Aside from these qualities, the staff absolutely makes the hotel. They... More

This is the third time in the last ten years we have stayed in this family operated hotel. The family are just as wonderful as ever, but recent renovations have transformed the 'homely' accommodation into something quite luxurious. (The best shower ever!). As has been well reiterated, top location for seeing central Paris.

I have stayed many times at this small central Parisian hotel. Our latest visit in July 2016 was as good as ever. The hotel provides bed and breakfast only but the breakfast is excellent and good value. The high point of breakfast is the patron's utterly delicious home made jams. The hotel is run efficiently by the couple who own... More

Very nice place in a beautiful neighborhood. Independently own by a couple of Kind people. Reasonable pricing for the quality. Close to many mythical places: walking distance from Eiffel tour, louvre, champs elysees, place de la Concorde, etc. The area feels very safe. Lots of police presence.

The hotel is centrally located and has a great feel. We had oversized luggage and the owners went out of their way to assist us (non-French speaking) to move our boxes. I would happily recommend La Sanguine to anyone visiting Paris.
