This is a clean hotel, right in the middle of St Michel, walking distance to many places of interest. This is our second stay here, and served as a perfect overnight hotel.

I've been staying in this hotel for the last 6 years and I always though it was good value for money, as the location is exceptional. I was there again last week and I found it very very very dirty. The brown carpets are covered with dust and stains. The bed covers are filty and dirty and everything smells bad....

You don't need to think about where to eat anymore. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps away from major attractions and museums. Bathroom could be bigger, but wasn’t our concern as we spent most of the time out.

Stayed here in mid 2011 with my husband and 4 year old. We stayed in a double room. The hotel room was tiny but neat. The room was clean and comes with a mini refrigerator, TV. The bathroom was clean. During our stay the elevator did not work couple of times. We had tough time carrying our bags. We felt...

We booked here as we couldn't get into the hotel Andre des Arts where we normally stay - it's on the same street. We were pleasantly surprised - we had a small but sweet room in the eaves - not huge but then space is at a premium in Paris, and you don't come on a weekend city break to...

Because I had not been in Paris for 20 years, I really wanted to have a nice room with knowledgable staff. I checked the website, and it looked pleasant enough. But photos can be deceiving. The place was dark, the courtyard was all broken up concrete, and had a creepy feel to it. The room itself was decent sized, but...

I stayed at this Hotel in early December 2011, I would like to point out that before saying whether a room is big or small you have to know the calcultations, It's is stated that a room is 13sqm so before bashing it you have to realize this is the size. I have been to paris 3 times in the...

In the heart of the one of the most expensive city in the world, Thank you Hotel Eugenie exists. I would never regret choosing this hotel as our point of stay while in Paris for 3 days after a long travel from Amsterdam to Brussels to Paris. Just a walk away from the San Miguel Station connected Line M metro...

Staff was very helpful prior to the trip by email. One of the few places with a triple room. Hotel is small. Check in was flawless. Check out was painful due to difficulty with computer swipe of credit card. Bit of a language barrier with desk staff but they were pleasant. The hotel is old and the steps are steep....

Stayed for 5 nights in the second week of October. The room: TINY double room with old carpets, old headboard, painted walls, a dresser, mini fridge, small TV (only found local channels in french), mattress and pillows were too soft but to be honest we were so tired from walking all day, it didn't affect our sleep. Aircon/heater worked fine....

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
