We stayed for a couple of nights at Le Walt and were really impressed. Fantastic location if you want to walk to The Eiffel Tower, and a great base for other sites. Well priced for the location, and a typically authentic french hotel. Service was very good, and staff were always there to help with tips on restaurants/trips etc... Great hotel
I looked at hundreds of options and Im so glad I chose Le Walt. The location is fantastic, close to everything. Walking distance to Louvre, Eiffel tower, Saint Germain, Le Marais and Notre Dame. Everything! The staff are A+ and sweet. The room? Well appointed and very clean. Very classy rooms. The breakfast? Dont skip it! Ann-Marie is incredible! Youll wake every morning to a beautiful table, fresh flowers and a terrace to look out on. The food is fresh and delicious with lots of options. Ann-Marie is worth staying here alone for. Id sleep in a tent if she was there waiting in the morning with coffee and croissants. There are so many options around and this is the biggest bang for your buck anywhere. Theres a 24hr market across the street and michelin restaurants all around.
On Nov 3, 2019 I wrote a review of our 3 night stay at Hotel Le Walt in late October. We returned in late Feb, staying 2 nights each at the Le walt at the beginning and end of our 18 day tour-de-force of Europe. Their location in Rue Cler is so convenient to great restaurants, Metro line 8, and the Eiffel Tower. As before, our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable and the hotel staff exceptional in their hospitality and sincere desire to make our stay, not only in their hotel but Paris overall as happy and satisfying as possible. As I wrote last November, the Le Walt is our "home in Paris" and their Concierges Lucas, Robin, and Laurent were exceptional in their service. .
This is a very chic hotel situated near to Tour Eiffel, at the Main Street. Very good located, the rooms with a very beautiful view, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location worth all the money.
What can I add that hadn’t been said in all reviews before? Yes, it is a great find with a convenient location and lovely decor throughout but what really makes this hotel is its staff. Laurent, Lucas and wonderful, so very chic Parisienne lady Anne Marie are the real stars. Nothing was too much bother, always with a smile on their face. This trip was planned by my husband who secretly ambushed me and surprised me with the trip to the City of Lights, since I kept saying for ages that we only lived across the channel but I’ve never been! It was a complete surprise and it superseded all my expectations. Since it was my significant birthday, hotel sent us a bottle of champagne ( so classy) with a hand written card to wish me a happy birthday. PARIS was magnificent, the people, food, architecture... will I be back? Like a shot...!…
