We traveled to Paris one month ago and found the hostel online. Normally Paris is expensive city so I can tell that the price was quite reasonable and the accommodation was ok. It is very close to one of the main stations Gare de Lyon, The place is perfect for travelers like us, backpackers that come to visit Paris for... More

My friend had accidentally gotten the wrong directions and we ended up here. Upon entering the building, it already looked like a crappy hostel but we had no other choice and had been travelling all day. The bed sheets were stained, the hostel was far from clean, there's one shower and one toilet per floor, the "free breakfast" is a... More

When we where there in August 2010, the place was clean and nice beds clean safe place to store your bags, central to walk was cheap never expected much, was for one night sleep. No bedbugs. Paid 27 euros for a night. The Germans we share with was nice and all. Other than that was not bad. 6 years later... More

The only redeeming factor this hostel has is the great location. Other than that the sheets were dirty, we woke up covered in bites every morning. The showers are pretty grim, cold and slimy. I already knew about the 'free breakfast' consisting of a croissant from a vending machine, from the other reviews, but for some bizarre reason you are... More

All the bad reviews I read are true. The place is very bad. Unlucky me wanted to drop my bags of my back and not expecting a hostel to be this bad, I signed for five nights. Been to hostels around the world, didnt think before Blue Planet that one can have nerve to propose a thing like that for... More

I booked this last minute before the Wales V Northern Ireland match at the Euros and it was fairly cheap! The location was excellent (right next to the Gare Du Lyon) and I experienced friendly service from the staff there. However, I went to drop my bag off and couldn't get into the room as there was one key for... More

No bed sheets, pillows and blankets smell like sweat. Be careful with reservation, you'll pay the whole thing at once there is no cancellation possible. I don't know what's wrong with the room keys but mine worked only once. Staff is not welcoming.

I'm not sure what other hostels are like in Paris but this was the worst one Id ever stayed in in Europe. Bed were comfortable, they gave me an English book to read and the staff were semi-accommodating. But the facilities were terrible. The showers smelt bad and were cold with minimal pressure! (I had to wash my hair in... More

One of the worst hostels I´ve ever stayed at. It is not cheap and it is NOT GOOD. -The key system of the dorms is stupid, there is one key per room, so first to go in and last to get out has the key. So if you are sleeping at 3am and someone comes in you have to get... More

There's only ONE key for a room of four strangers. If you are the first one to check in you get the key to open the room. Then you surrender it to the reception, and you have to knock and your roommates have to open the door for you. If you return at 11 pm, 1 am, 3 am, 6... More
