My husband and I stayed here for four nights, and overall it was fine. Staff was friendly enough, room was small (which we were expecting), but worked. The hotel has such a fun, funky feel, I just wish they would fix the chipping paint and stained upholstery. I loved the décor, but it definitely looks better in pictures. The location is great/central, but I will find another hotel next time.
This is a small boutique hotel in central Paris. Nice rooms (although on the traditional Parisian small side) with a restaurant bar on site. There aren't many broader facilities (reception rooms etc) but for the price and quality I think this is a very good hotel. I would happily stay again
Stayed at Hotel Panache for a week at the end of February and had a great experience. Sophia and the reception staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. It is is a great location, within walking distance of Montmartre, Opera Garnier and the big department stores, the Louvre/Palais Royale and other popular areas, as well as very close to Grands Boulevards metro. Yes the rooms may seem small etc. by North American standards as per some other reviews, but don’t forget you are in Paris in a 19th century building and the rooms are comfortable and charming. It was an amazing base for a week of adventures around the city. Also excellent restaurants, bakeries, shops in the area everywhere you turn, and pharmacies within a 5 minute walk where you can have your vaccine certificate converted into a passe sanitaire (on the corner of rues Cadet and La Fayette). We will definitely return, à la prochaine!…
Stayed at Hotel Panache for 3 nights. Booked last minute and was still able to get a huge room with a double bed and an additional single bed and which also had a relatively big bathroom. The shower had excellent water pressure. Hotel has a small lift which is not always a given in European hotels and is close to Grand Boulevards Metro Station, buses from the Champs D'Elysees and lots of excellent food and bars around the 9th Arr. Staff were very friendly and helpful and helped make the stay pleasurable. Hotel is very fairly priced considering the area.
The reception & room service was great but the room was way too small, bathroom was tiny. A constant noise from outside was pretty annoying, especially at nights..The interior of room was well done, gives you kinda a «Amelie» vibe. Overall it is a cozy, classical french hotel :) Merci Panache
We had a 6 night stay at Hotel Panache. The location is great...walking distance to Metro and train stations. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. As first time visitors to Paris, we asked a ton of questions and for recommendations and found the staff to be very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They assisted us in finding COVID testing before returning to the US. The rooms are small but comfortable with lots of Parisian charm and very clean. Would definitely stay again.
Following the period of Covid restrictions, we were pleased to be travelling again and had a quick overnight stop in Paris which coincided with my wife's birthday. We've stayed in a lot of Paris hotels which were big on charm but limited in space and customer service. We found Hotel Panache on the Mr and Mrs Smith site and it proved to be a bit of a find. The room large by Paris standards with comfortable bed, sofa and window seat (hotels only providing one seat is a real bugbear). The staff were welcome, friendly and helpful with good recommendations for lunch (the area is great for restaurants). The petit-dejeuner express was just fine. Any gripes? Well only small ones. It was a bit noisy (but not really for the inner-city and we could have closed the window). We were only provided with one towel between us but a call to reception brought an extra one up promptly. And we could never work out the light switch arrangement. But these are minor quibbles. We really liked Hotel Panache and it could become our Paris go-to.…
We were supposed to get an early check-in at a nearby hotel, but they bailed on us. The concierge called Hotel Panache and they kindly agreed -- offered us a lovely breakfast (it was 8 am after an all-night flight) -- and put us in a nice room on the 6th floor in the back. Airy, quiet, and good shower. The staff is superb -- just incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and welcoming -- from the front desk folks to the really lovely breakfast crew. The next day we switched form 601 to 603 and got a balcony, tub, and wonderful light -- super awesome upgrade! We were sorry to leave Panache. Great find in the ninth!
As stated, room was small but adequate for my husband and me. Clean and quiet. Very nice location just in the 9th with most sites and the metro within easy walking distance. Very helpful staff. I will stay here again.
Stayed for 2 nights at room 403. Our room was small (it’s typical Paris!) but functioned well and clean. The shower was also small but clean. The beds were comfortable, my 10 year old daughter and I had good sleeps during our stay. It was a cold weekend in Paris and the heater worked well (we’re able to control the temperature as at some point it was too hot). Staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel has nice ambience and lovely retro decor. Location is superb, as it is in 9th arrondissement, you could walk almost anywhere to many landmarks, 20 mins to Montmartre/Sacré-Cœur, 10 mins walking to Galeries Lafayette / Opera Garnier area, short walk to Marais, Louvre, 15 minutes to Gare du Nord (perfect and very practical for us as when we were there, metro was closed due to public transport strike and traffic was super horrible!). The neighborhood is hip and vibrant, and there are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. We will stay again at this hotel!…
