Dressing the corner of rue du Faubourg Montmartre and rue Geoffroy Marie, the Panache is living in Paris. Here bubbling day and night, crossroads of trends and multiple destinations. Not far from the Grands Boulevards, where auctions of Drouot, theaters everywhere. Yet it is in the heart of the French capital.

Very cute boutique hotel with a lovely welcoming team. But don’t go there if you need an uninterrupted night’s sleep before a busy day. Walls are paper-thin, as I discovered when a family with a crying baby moved in next door. In that price bracket you can find better places with actual sound insulation.

What a fabulous little boutique hotel. This gave us the full Parisian experience. Stylish attention to detail, excellent fixtures and decor, friendly staff. Our double room had two little balconies and such a comfy bed, a strong shower, nespresso and kettle, fridge - all the basics - but most importantly buckets of French style. In a cool area with tons of evening options. We had such a good stay and will definitely return. Thank you Panache!! Je t’adore!!

I had read the reviews before booking, so I was fairly certain what to expect. However, the front desk staff, Rainave, Michel, Angelina and Daria made us feel like guests in their home. Any questions we had about restaurants, shopping or simply things to do, were always answered with helpful information. Everyone always greeted us with a warm smile and a willingness to help. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms small but well appointed. One recommendation, book an outside room. The open windows are a treat when sitting down and relaxing with a glass of wine!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in mid September. We know from experience that the smallest rooms can be very tiny and booked a suite as a result, despite the increased cost. Images show windows and large bathrooms associated with these spaces. The hotel itself is very small, the elevator is comically small, barely fit two fairly thin people standing sideways and one suitcase and was broken for most of the visit despite seeming to be new. The hallways are wide enough for only one person to walk at a time which can cause some problems if another guest is trying to leave their room when you are walking to yours. Our room had one window in a corner that was inaccessible because of a cot left in the room that took up maybe a quarter of the available floor space and could not be moved out because the hallway was too small. The room was very dark. In addition, the bathroom was large but literally flooded with an inch or so of water every time we took a shower because there was no glass or shower curtain installed, although there was a shower head was installed. There was also water damage, likely as a result of this issue with other guests. When we responded to the end of visit prompt for a review with this information, the hotel wrote back to say that this room was only for people who bathe and we should have paid better attention and maybe next time we should book a different space. Unfortunately for them, this response and the ridiculous idea that we should have known better and would not want a shower(I don't take baths), means there will be no next time.

After much research, we decided to go above our original budget and pay for the 4* Panache. We had also been looking at the three star hotels Joe M and Maison Axel Opera literally just done the road, but liked the design of the Panache. The booking was last minute and they did their very best to secure two rooms at the back of the hotel so we were away from the road noise. Having read other reviews and always in need of a good night's sleep, this was important to me. Our two rooms were described as superior and given the shape of the building, were very different to each other. Both had the same decor but one had considerably more space with a separate seating area....strange that they were the same price. Fortune cookies on the pillow were fun and we appreciated a gift of a bar of chocolate. The reasons why I've said this hotel is just ok is as follows: - reception staff were polite but lacking in warmth - an ironing board couldn't be delivered to the room as there was only one person on reception - not a massive deal, but not great service either - there is zero sound proofing between rooms. I could clearly hear someone going to the loo in the bathroom directly behind our bedhead, as well as doors opening and closing, the sound of tvs and conversation, and people walking back and forth on the floor above - the hotel markets itself on its design but some thought needs to go into the back of the hotel. Given that two rooms on each floor face the back, please address the peeling paint and lacklustre views of ventilation units. Other reviewers have described a courtyard or garden, but this is a huge stretch! All in all, the hotel is in a great location and served as a good base. Nothing more...but it has so much potential. Offer a bar service in the reception area, train your staff to be consistently enthusiastic with their guests and invest in some soundproofing. I'll then understand the 4 stars and the price point. Thank you.

Chère Buffyty, We thank you for this constructive comment! In fact your two rooms were different, after verification, you were upgraded to a suite in one of them, we offered you this upgrade (almost 200€ difference between the two rooms categories). Unfortunately for us, we did not choose the view from these rooms, which I admit is not the prettiest view in Paris, but a view of the courtyards and rooftops of Paris. Our prices vary enormously, depending on the time of year (events), also depending on demand, but also the prices charged by other establishments around ours. This is why the price of a room can vary by almost €200 depending on the time of year. During important events, a 2 or 3 star hotel can display prices similar to ours, as the demand is very high. Compared to the hotels mentioned in your comment, we offer more qualitative welcome products, such as Dyptique brand hygiene products, and a lot of amenities for bathroom, but also unlimited coffee and tea, mini bar, but also a concierge service. I totally understand your point of view, but unfortunately for us, the hotel sector is in a labor crisis, and we are penalized for it, no longer allowing us to offer certain usual services, such as room service. (the ironing board for example). On the other hand, I am disappointed, and surprised, by your feedback about our team, which usually makes the difference compared to other establishments, and as you can see in the other comments, our team is recommended and thanked for the kindness and who knows how to put our guests at ease as soon as they check in. Please note that we completed the total renovation of our hotel at the end of August, the rooms are now like new, I invite you to come and discover them again soon! Regarding soundproofing, we are deeply sorry that this disturbed you, but we have done our best to ensure that you are calm. Mado, reception manager

This charming hotel is in a great location and the staff are so kind. We loved our room (204) with balcony! Our teenage daughters stayed in room next to ours. Highly recommend for Charm price and location and staff! Will attach photos of balcony where we drank our coffee in the morning and wine in evening!

I booked a room in Hôtel Panache for two nights to celebrate my friend’s birthday - told the hotel beforehand she’d never been to Paris before and we were doing a little midweek birthday celebration, and they very kindly presented her with two bars of chocolate and a birthday card upon arrival. The hotel itself is impeccable. The room we stayed in (202) was spacious, very clean and immaculately made up. The little balcony is ideal to lounge on if the weather permits, and hotel reception is always accessible in case you have questions or requests. On our final day, they very kindly tried to accommodate our request for a later check out time (depends on availability) and then held onto our luggage for us as we swanned off to the Louvre and the Notre Dame for a final few hours of sightseeing and culture. If you want a clean, quiet art deco hotel with an exquisite location (a leisurely 20-minute walk from the Louvre), this is the place to be. Overall, I would really recommend them. The staff is beyond friendly, the hotel obviously tries its very best to exceed your expectations (and is environmentally friendly!) - next time I visit Paris, I will definitely stay here again.

We had two superior rooms with breakfast. The rooms were really nice and unique, as well as the hotel itself. Location was very good and the staff always friendly and smiling, speaking very good English. Breakfast was typical French breakfast and they had gluten-free buns and madeleines 🤩 Coffee was so good. The only negative thing was the room temperature. It was too high for us and couldn't be controlled individually. They could switch off the heating in our room, but it wasn't a good solution since the room became damp. So we kept the window open as much as possible. Our party had two rooms and in another room there was an air-sorce heat pump that you could control yourself and it was also possible to cool down the temperature. That was the only negative, otherwise we loved the room and the hotel and could return in the future :)

The location was the best bit. Room was okay, breakfast was poor. For the first time ever I actually had to bring my own milk to breakfast with me each morning, they had zero dairy free options available, and couldn't provide anything - I never would have paid 18 euros for the breakfast, especially when they don't even accommodate any dietary needs.

The hotel is about 5 blocks away from the big department stores (shopping area); it has about 5 grocery stores from a 1-3minute walk; a laundromat 3 stores down; lots of bars/ restaurants nearby (shawarma, Thai food, Chinese takeout, 2brasserie across the street, a crepe/ice cream shoppe) ; a bakery; has 2 train lines nearby. you can take a cab to Sacre Cour and walk down easily. I did not try but There is Breakfast available at the hotel for a fee. Room had a refrigerator . Elevator was small but it worked! The groceries had microwaves you can heat food in. Best to bring your own grocery bags- they charge for plastic bags. I had a very good time at this location! and they were nice enough to break into small bills and accept cash. The only downside is the very tiny shower stall.
