Stayed for 2 hours before checking out and finding an ibis hotel in the area of Bastille. The room was a decent size but dark and horrible. I could forgive the decor but the bathroom tiles were cracked, the shower mouldy and the room was stuffy. The bathroom door didnt close and the lock wad broken anyway. The carpet wasn't... More

The Hotel is ideally located for a siteseeing holiday, the Gare de L'Est is just up the road and the Gare du Nord about a 10 minute walk. The room I stayed in (44) was very shabby, but nothing a lick of paint wouldn't fix (dark grey is never a good look!) and a new carpet is a must. There... More

After 12 hours on a train, (fire just outside Gare du Nord), I arrived at 04:00. The night porter welcomed me with a warm smile and pointed me towards my room. The lift is, I think, possibly the smallest on the planet. My room, clean, functional and small. No air conditioning, so the window had to be left open in... More

This basic hotel is very reasonably priced considering its central location. The rooms are clean and of a good size. The lift/elevator is absolutely tiny but, for me, this added to the charm of the place! Friendly and helpful staff. There are plenty of cafés and bars in the immediate vicinity and the hotel is just 2 minutes from Gare... More

The hotel is located around 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord and the Eurostar, 3 minutes from Gare de l’Est and 1 minute from the closest Meto station (line 4 and 7). This made it easy to travel around Paris and see the sites, the reason we visited Paris. We were located in room 46, fourth floor and at... More

3 nights in this friendly hotel on a budget.Nan and granddaughter. Close to all tourist attractions - by trains buses and walking. Breakfast adequate - continental - after all it's French!! Suggested proprietor supplied or customer being able to hire fans for summer months at a small cost per night. 34 degrees when we were there - unbearable. Rooms need... More

The hotel is conveniently located for Gare du Nord (a 5-8 minute walk) and Gare de l'Est (about a minute!), and very easy to find. The area is less than salubrious and while I didn't feel particularly threatened walking around in the evening I wouldn't have chosen to be wandering around late at night. The hotel staff we met were... More

Basic hotel with no air con, but the bed was great, the room was a good size, it was clean, we had everything we needed. The location was great, There is a train station practically next door. Take a number 30 bus from just outside and for just 2 euros, it takes you to the Eifel Tower.

We stayed at the hotel mainly as a base to see Paris. The location was good being quite close to gare due nord for Eurostar and a local station gare de l'est. The staff were great, really helping with my unfortunate lack of French. Got directions to all kinds of places. The hotel is in transition, looking like a third... More

Let's start with the good points, because there are some: Convenient location: The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Gare de l'Est and reasonable walking distance of Gare du Nord. If you're relatively able bodied, you can even walk to the Seine and several other sights worth seeing. The staff members are friendly and do a fair job... More
