It had everything we needed, We need somewhere close to Gare Du Nord Station as we had an early train back home. The staff were helpful and friendly, the girl at the front desk made sure we knew where we were and helped us find the places we needed to go. The only thing they needed to improve on was...

We had a private double room with a shared bathroom and a shared shower. We were up on the fourth floor, had a view of a wall out our window but didn't mind as it was only somewhere to sleep. We paid 100 Euro for two nights for two people, it was a great price considering how central it was....

I stayed in a shared four-bed room. There was only one available power-outlet, meaning we all had to take turns charging our mobile devices. Not very practical. There was only one toilet on each floor, shared between six rooms. Showers were on every second floor. The breakfast was a piece of baguette, some butter, jam, a small glass of orange...

Receptionist was very friendly. Parking place- terrible!!! There are local parking places, but no free place! Reservation should be done. We didn´t have this info, so we ended up with 2 hours;(;( looking for a park-zone. It was the saturday night, maybe this was the reason, but never again! The doors/ walls were so thin, that we heard every noise...

The best aspect of this hostel is it's location - just a short walk from Anvers metro station.Facilities are good (e.g. luggage storage room) and our ensuite room was lovely. The breakfast served is fairly basic but of a reasonable standard and it did keep us going for most of the day.The only downside are the guest 'kitchen' facilities which consisted...

We are currently staying at this hotel/ hostel in a double private room with ensuite on the 5th floor. The room is perfectly adequate for any short stay travellers needs, our room does have a hair dryer just outside the bathroom, which is super clean. The room itself is not huge but has enough room for 2 people and the...

Me and my boyfriend came to Paris for a week and stayed in a double bed ensuite here. When we arrived the staff were so friendly and allowed us to settle in our room before signing paperwork, paying, etc. The room was so clean and nicely decorated, and the balcony view was lovely too. We both managed to sleep well...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
