An impromptu pied a terre or a Parisian holiday address for an extended stay, Hotel Eugene en Ville offers guests superior hospitality with spirited service. The emphasis is on creating a mixed palette of styles. The raw-finished walls and industrial furniture poke fun at more traditional features and appointments. Dark Victorian patinas, ornate mirrors and candelabras, soft, cosy armchairs and curios – all handpicked from antique shops and markets – create a style that is at once refined and iconoclastic. The chemistry is simply compelling. On the same eccentric register, a giant screen shows snippets of life inside a luxury hotel: an unconventional film that takes a witty look at an establishment that is well and truly frequented in every sense of the word. The hotel has inherited the sort of elegance that never seeks to look overly sophisticated. It possesses the kind of charm that always feels spontaneous: that truly Parisian effortless chic that Eugene holds the secret to.

We have been in August 2020 in paris. 4 adults, 2 Rooms. The Design is trendy, tbe location is perfekt. 100 m to the metrostation. Although we habe been there in corona times, the Breakfast was very good. It was delivered to the Room to the chosen timeslot. Thank for a nice stay!

We chose the hotel because the concept looked interesting - black walls with gold details and this spacious rooftop terrace, perfect for hot days. Once you arrive, the entry area and hallway is nakedly designed. Nothing really welcoming - except the staff. They we're friendly and their English was good. But when we asked them if someone helps with our bags, they refused *because of covid`. So washing your hands or wearing gloves is no option? Secondly our room was really small and REALLY dark. Not really a chance for sunlight. We stayed for two nights, so I asked for a better room, "but they were all booked". Now the cleanliness: Overall okay, but when you looked closely not. Stains on the toilet seat and dirty coffee cups. They only had instant coffee in the rooms and no fridge. They also forgot to place a towel for a second person. AND worst if you're on a business trip - WIFI didn't work/poorly work. When I gave my feedback during the stay and even at checkout they could see, that we were not happy (btw, the terrace is not accessible, so it was 3 days this dark room with no light concept) and gave me cheeky 20 euros reduction. First and last time there.

Dear Madam, We would like to thank you for taking some time to give us your feedback regarding your stay, and are really sorry to read that your experience didn't met your expectations. Regarding your first impression when you enter in the lobby, it is true that one of our walls is naked, however, it is part of our decoration to remind the original parisian buildings. Concerning the help with your luggages, I am sorry that my collegue refused to help you, be sure that this situation does not happen again. When you arrived on your first day, your reservation was for one person in a single room. As you were finally two persons, we proposed you our last classic room available. I apologize again for your disapointment regarding the lack of light in the room, and the cleanliness. As my colleague explained, we were fully booked for this category and we didn't have the possibiliy to change it. However, it is specified on our website that nespresso machine and fridge are only available in superior categories. If you need to keep something in the fridge, our restaurant is at your disposal. Unfortunately we don't have any public rooftop terrasse, only private ones, included with our superior rooms with terrasse. Best Regards,

Lovely hotel. Fantastic staff. Great breakfast, Very fresh & lots of choice. Comfy bed, very clean room. Loved how quiet it was. Best night's sleep in a Paris hotel ever! Decor is very quirky & striking. A bit darker than other hotels but it just adds to the style. Bar area is perfect.

I booked this hotel through secret escapes and it was fantastic. The hotel decor is very gothic, dark and romantic. I am not sure if all the rooms are like this but the only thing that might be an issue for other travellers is that the shower is not separate to the bedroom - we didn’t mind as we were travelling as a couple but if you are staying at this hotel and sharing with friends then you will have an issue with privacy. The room was also small but we also didn’t mind too much as we were in Paris to explore the city. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and it was an excellent location.
