Stayed over the duration of a few days for a long weekend break was a very basic room and definitely needs improvement/redecorating despite this staff were very friendly however first night in the room the floor was dirty so we left our shoes on whole time but cleaning seemed to be improved slightly over next few days. The shower is...

Was rather worried after reading some of the reviews on here. However I found the reception staff extremely friendly and helpful, it is a stone throw away from the metro. Of course it is not a 5 star hotel but it's very good value for money.

Stayed here during the Euros for 5 nights. Dirty hotel. Despite there being free Wifi it rarely worked. Pillows were the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on. Room was probably not clean before I accessed it. Toilet didn't flush properly.

During my stay here, I faced a few problems such as the door not closing properly, the bathroom flooding into the corridor, no internet, and dirty bedding. I don't think the room was cleaned prior to check and the bathroom remained dirty for the duration of my stay. The location of the hotel is convenient for the metro lines, but...

I've traveled in more than 30 countries and I was visiting Paris for the second time, time spent at this hotel was my worst experience ever. To cut a long story short, slept and woke up to discover my laptop bag that contains my mac book air, a mobile phone, digital camera and other valuables were missing. I searched the...

Booked last minute, first room we had had a busted toilet. The services was crap, manager was rude and unhelpful - wanted to keep our room key every time we went out??? Breakfast was minimal and bread often hard. We couldn't wait to leave.

the best part is that the city is laid down just you step out the next street (on the corner) of the hotel. while you`re going to the hotel de ville or notre-dame or .... (about half hour on foot), you`ll be able to feel the real sensation of life in the quartier. staying in the quartier is a different...

I stayed four nights here while in Paris. It is close to the transport lines and very convenient to get into the city centre. However, if you are looking for a super clean room this is not the hotel. The rooms are very small (not a huge issue) but when I walked into my room old towels were left around...

Staying in Belleville / Pere Lachaise

    Neighborhood Profile
    Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.
