From the moment we arrived, the entire staff was professional and most gracious, initially helping two tired American travelers navigate Paris smoothly and adding to how much we enjoyed our short time in the city. And throughout our stay, that level of service never wavered.
Our rooms were beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean and fresh.
Breakfast, which was included in the room charge, provided a vast selection of dishes that were just delicious. We loved it!
Our stay was brief but truly memorable. It was delightful from beginning to end.

My 3 months old daughter had a medical emergency during our stay and the hotel responded very quickly and bring a doctor to my room to check my daughter and they were very kind and supportive during our stay.
Thank you again to Srour and the whole staff for everything and we will visit the hotel again.
I could not possibly fault this hotel, which is stylish, has spacious rooms, and is in a prime location on Rue Berri (about a 5 minute walk to a busy part of the Champs-Elysees). The staff was incredibly kind and no request was too much. We were able to arrange a babysitter and also a massage through the front desk.
Due to our booking arrangement, we had a breakfast included. This is a simple yet filling breakfast in the small on-site restaurant. The food was quite nice. The coffees were unpretentious and I preferred to drink American style while at this hotel.
The rooms were beautifully laid out, and we received macarons on arrival! I could not speak more highly of these beautiful rooms and how spacious they are. Everything was very clean. Pod coffee, tea and minibar were available. The bathroom contained a hot tub and was likewise extremely clean with lovely amenities.
The room got a little hot at times, even with the AC (it was around 25 degrees one of the days we were there). But the AC was mostly very effective. The ceilings are very high and desk space and sun lounge are available. As advertised, there is no kitchenette.
The lift is a little slow, however it is important to remember this is normal for all the hotels built in historical Parisian buildings. That is because the lifts had to be installed a very long time after the buildings were built. For this reason, the lifts tend to be small and slow. However, the stairs are readily available. I am not sure if the lift, which is very small, would fit a wheelchair. It might, but I think it would be tight.
This hotel is in a very safe neighbourhood. There are some interesting restaurants close by. I would recommend l'Annexe for delicious food and masterful cocktails (albeit fairly slow service). Chef Nobu's first-ever French offering is also located nearby, in the Raffles Hotel.
Would I recommend this hotel to a friend? Yes! For sure. The building has such charm and character and the staff is just so lovely.
The front desk staff and door men were exceptional no matter who was on. The day time person we worked with most was Omar and he was so sweet and efficient to help us with all of our needs. The night time person who helped us was Theo and he was an angel and always efficient in helping us.
Their spa downstairs is wonderful and includes a large jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and shower. It is luxurious, calming, very clean and smells so good. I was able to book the spa for 40 minutes of privacy each time I went. I used it a lot. The exercise room was small but adequate for me.
I can also highly recommend their restaurant Le Bayadere. We had a beautiful dinner there. The food was so fresh and carefully prepared by an amazing chef and staff. I have had many meals around the world and this was definitely in my top 10.
On two mornings we had to leave the hotel before breakfast was served to make it to early start Olympic events. We told them the night before and in the morning we had a bag with breakfast pastries, yogurt and fruit prepared for us. Definitely appreciated.
I asked the desk to show me several different room types so when I come back I will be able to hopefully pick the room of my choice although we were very comfortable in the classic room 15 which I understand is a little larger classic room. I will most definitely return to Paris and will choose Hotel Elysia whenever I return.

All the reviews I read about this hotel were very good and when I arrived, I thought I had been misled.
Go ahead that the room, even when it was very dark and facing a small patio, was fine. Not very new, but fine. The bathroom is a three-star hotel because it is dominated by a bathtub Jacuzzi that looked like it hadn't been used in life, while in the sink you can barely stir...
The hotel is also well located, a few blocks from the Champs-Elysees.
Friendly staff, no overreach, but friendly.
However, the hotel is narrow, everything is tiny, not as it appears in the photos. When we arrived, at the entrance there were about 20 bags piled in the entrance, giving a feeling of crowding...
And to top off the elevator is caged, not even two people fit well... and there is only one!!
I don’t explain how anyone references this in the reviews...
We should tell the truth in what we write so as not to give false ideas that ultimately generate frustration.
Before we actually arrived communication between the hotel was excellent, so efficient and quick to respond. From this and our arrival until our departure we received first class service.
The staff were outstanding and every one we encountered was helpful and friendly. Our room was kept immaculate by housekeeping and we really appreciated the little extras - the personalised handwritten welcome note, the surprise treats such as a beautiful box of Laduree macaroons, pralines also gift wrapped and a bottle of champagne delivered to our room.
Breakfast each morning was exceptional and we were spoilt for choice. Fresh juices, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, pastries ,croissants, a variety of hot food and the most delicious omelettes we have ever enjoyed made to order.
I would like to make special mention of Iksan who kindly arranged all our restaurant bookings before our arrival and whose help was invaluable.
All in all, we were treated like royalty at this gem of a hotel.
As someone who has a BA Hons in Hotel and Tourism Business Management and has worked for many years in a wide range of hotels and large country club spas, all from two star to well known five star resorts, I can honestly say that the Elysia Hotel is in a completely different league altogether! To the point that the vast majority of the hotels back here in the UK could learn a thing or two when it comes to delivering excellent customer service, attention to detail and cleanliness.
There was nothing I could find fault with at all. It was quite simply perfect. This hotel will be hard if not impossible to beat!!
Thank you for having us. (Please pass our feedback onto all your staff!)
