Staying at the Luxembourg Parc Hotel was like staying at a warm and refined friend’s house. The place is lovely and gives out a uniquely cozy and intimate feeling. Our room was of a nice size, with high beamed ceilings and beautiful furniture. The bathroom was large too, with normal a shower curtain and not these half shower doors I have seen in so many hotels in France that cause you to flood the place every time you turn on the water. Ideally situated exactly across the Luxembourg garden, you can just cross the street for your morning jog, or to get an afternoon hot chocolate or a famous Mont Blanc pastry at Angelina’s (which is unfortunately closed for renovations at the time of our stay.) This amazing hotel is so quiet that you felt like you are staying in a country house when you are in the center of Paris, just down the street from the elegant and trendy shops of Rue Bonaparte, rue de Seine and Boulevard St Germain, and a 15 minutes walk from the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay or Notre-Dame and lots of fashionable restaurants and cafés all around. Finally, the icing on the cake is the staff. They make you feel like they have always known you without ever being intrusive and that they are happy you are there. A great find. I highly recommend it!…
Booked their sister hotel Le Perle but due to the coronvirus they had to change our booking to the Luxembourg Parc. We were not disappointed, it was a beautiful Parisian style hotel right opposite the Luxembourg Jardin. A fabulous location with a short walk to restaurants and the metro. We walked through the Jardin which was beautiful with lots of photo opportunities. The room was clean (slightly on the small side but not really a problem) We had a mini bar, safe, tv, hair dryer etc the only thing we didn't have which for us Brits is a must have was a kettle for tea/coffee. Very strange not to have that facility in a room. This trip was for my friends 60th which I had told their sister hotel so it was a slight shame they didn't put something special in our room for her or acknowledge it when we checked in but even still this was not a major issue. The staff were amazing, so friendly and really helpful with all our questions. We would definitely come back and I would recommend it to anyone wantng something in a lovely, safe area with everything close by and great staff. All you need for a short trip really.…
We stayed at this lovely hotel 7 years ago (If I'd written a TripAdvisor review then it would have been entirely positive) & were looking forward to staying again this April. We thought that nothing would stop us, so we paid in full at the cheaper rate, with no refund for cancellation. When we did have to cancel due to the coronavirus outbreak, they offered to hold our payment to use next year. We're very grateful for their generosity at what is such a difficult time for everyone, particularly those in the travel industry.
I was looking forward to this hotel because everything looked perfect on the website and the reviews were great. But as a couple we didn't love it. We had a superior room with a double bed and this was the third hotel we stayed in while we were visiting Paris. This hotel was the most expensive and our least favorite. First of all, we did not have a minibar and it seemed as though they skimped on the toiletries. We were there two nights and they never replaced them and there was no conditioner. I was looking forward to the little bar and breakfast in the hotel but the bar was in the lobby and didn't look inviting. Also we decided to splurge on the breakfast since it is not included with the room price. There was nobody at breakfast so we would have been alone eating and it did not look appetizing at all. So instead we went to a cafe. There was no coffee nor tea in the hotel unless you paid for it during breakfast. Usually four star hotels have either complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby or a tea kettle or coffee machine in the room. They also did not give out water bottles so we always had to run to the store down the street for water. I think for us, the hotel was lacking soul especially compared to the other hotels. The staff was nice but didn't really go out of their way for anything. We would not stay here again.…
My husband and I recently took a trip to Paris for our anniversary. This hotel is adorable and right across from the Luxembourg park. The location was central without being in the middle of the party. It’s very well appointed, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. We had to check our bags overnight prior to arriving and they were wonderful about it. I highly recommend it!!
