We stayed here 9 nights at the end of April. I just read through the recent reviews and agree with all the nice things people have written about this lovely hotel. The location was perfect for us - convenient yet not in a busy area. We walked almost everywhere. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby for dinner. The staff is great - they are all kind and always helpful. They gave us a hot water kettle for tea which I appreciated. Let us check in early. Much better staying here than in a large chain hotel room which seems the same in every city - this room was warm and charming. The hotel was filled up yet we never bumped into anyone and never heard any noise. I can't recommend this hotel enough.
We simply love this hotel. The staff are outstanding and provide exception high level of service. It is a small intimate hotel and you feel very welcome. Tasty breakfasts as well. They also have a small bar area to grab a drink after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms are very nice and you are close to great restaurants and attractions. This was our third visit and we will keeping coming back. Highly recommended.
The hotel is a real gem -- so well cared for, immaculately clean and with beautiful furnishings. The staff, Tristan, Christian, Lydia, Louis, and others were all so helpful and kind, always greeting with a smile and a good word. We were at the hotel for 12 nights. The only suggestion we would like to pass along is for rooms facing the courtyard that there be an inner curtain inside the drapes so guests can have privacy without having to close the drapes. We would definitely recommend this hotel -- location is central, about 500 mts from the Saint Sulpice metro station.
I stayed here with my 14 year old daughter and her friend for 2 nights. Such a beautiful place to stay for them on their first time in Paris. We were unsure about the different areas of Paris and I wanted it to be safe, central with a lovely interior. All of those boxes were ticked! They loved the stylish room which received a 'wow' on entry. We had a family suite with a double bed and a sofa bed which was set up as 2 singles - the doors could be closed between the 2 areas for privacy. The beds were very comfy. We had breakfast in the room with crepes, croissants, fruit, juices etc. The doors opened onto a small balcony which overlooked pretty buildings. It's in a side street so for central Paris it's very quiet as there are no passing cars. The lobby is small so you can get a drink but if you're looking for a large bar and buffet breakfast this isn't for you. We walked everywhere except to the Sacre Coeur which was a short metro ride. The Pantheon is 10 mins walk as is the restaurant in 'Emily in Paris', Terra Nera! Notre Dam is 15 mins, Eiffel Tour about an hour. The staff are very friendly and they organised transfers for approx. 40 euros each way from Orly. Fly to Orly if you can as its only 30 mins by taxi. Thanks again for a lovely stay x…
My wife and I, very experienced travelers to many countries, stayed here and liked it very much in 2017. We returned in March 2022 and liked it every bit as much. The rooms are lovely, everything spotlessly clean, the breakfast room is warm and welcoming, Luxembourg Parc is directly across the street, and the staff is as friendly and helpful as humanly possible. BUT -- what really impressed us was their reaction after both I and my wife tested positive for Covid just before our scheduled return to the US and were obliged to stay an extra 10 days. They could not have been more understanding, supportive, and helpful. They moved us from a single room to a suite -- without changing the rate! -- brought our breakfast to the door every morning, arranged for an English-speaking doctor to come examine us and give us the Documents of Recovery necessary for our return, and were just stunningly kind, positive, friendly, and helpful throughout. It was truly impressive, way beyond the call of duty. Plus, as I said, it's a lovely hotel to begin with, and well situated in the 6th Arr., within walking distance of the major museums.…
Boutique hotel in a very nice and neighborhood. Clean and tasteful rooms, with ample space. Great location just across Luxemburg park, walking distance to sightseeing sites and many good restaurants. Professional and courteous staff. Highly recommend.
This was our first international trip in the COVID era after a previously planned trip to Paris in April 2020 was canceled and it was so worth the wait- the incredible Hotel Luxembourg Parc played a huge part in that. The location is great- centrally located to key sights in Paris. We walked (albeit a bit of a longer walk) to the Norte Dame area, the Louvre and sights in between. And the St Germain area is incredible. Try the Cuisine de Philippe restaurant across the street and the oyster bar around the corner for fantastic meals. Franprix grocery store is a 5 minute walk away. We had a beautiful corner room with atmospheric wooden beams and beautiful big windows overlooking both streets but we never heard any street noise because of the soundproofing. And the hotel staff are fantastic- always smiling and eager to be of service. We would definitely return! Thank you Luxembourg Parc for such a magical stay amidst the chaos of the world.…
Smaller hotel but with exceptional service. Location is ideal on a quiet street directly across from the spectacular Luxembourg Gardens. Lots of excellent neighborhood restaurants to choose from. Very comfortable large room and bath. Will stay there again on our next visit to Paris. Highly recommend.
We were moved here when our other hotel rebooked us and we couldn’t have been happier. We were traveling as a family and they booked us two connecting rooms which gave us a lot of extra space. The hotel was charming and in a good location. Not too far from the metro either. But what we really were impressed with was the staff, specifically Tristan and Terrance (hope I spelled his name correctly). They helped us with so many things during our stay which was a great benefit. They went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t thank them enough. Just the service alone is reason enough to stay here again.
Have you been searching for a charming traditional hotel with beautiful furnishings, a luxurious bed, and helpful staff who make everyone feel like a special guest every time they walk through the door? This is it and it’s in a great location to get anywhere in Paris. No wonder they have so many regulars repeat customers. And during this Covid crisis you couldn’t find a cleaner place - immaculate rooms and bathrooms - surgically clean. Every area is kept spotless (not a drop of dust anywhere) as the staff work very diligently to ensure every guest feels comfortable, safe and happy to be there. So now that you found that hotel that you thought no longer existed - then if you want you can just step across the narrow side street to Chez Phillipe- a traditional restaurant that is a delight and that everyone in the area goes to... Normally I hesitate telling anyone as I used to tell people about one small hotel then it became the number one hotel on Trip Advisor in Paris and you couldn’t get in.... but it’s a tough time and they proved that they deserve to be supported as every time you walk through the door it’s like magic - exactly the same welcome gracious happy feeling - the highest tradition of true hospitality - the most friendly, joyful and quietly elegant hotel to go back to .... again and again...…
