I've stayed here twice but not in recent years (the review asks when, but does not allow earlier visits than a year). The location is its best asset. The lobby affords room for one to await visits from friends staying elsewhere. The rooms are adequate, if you specify your bed size and toilette requirements. Affordability is also a perk. One...

Great Location!!! We had a clean, good size room with comfortable beds, super nice bathroom with a big tub, and a view of the Eiffel Tower. Lively, but not noisy location: a pleasant short walk to many important sights, two blocks from metro station, with many shops and places to eat around. Felt very safe at all times. Every room...

We just came back from a well deserved 4 day vacation as a couple We chose this hotel based on feedback from family that have stayed there in the past, but were let down. While the hotel is relatively clean and in a good location - the room that we got (#23) was absolutely terrible. It was very small, we...

Room 19: The room was poorly cleaned; floor never vacuumed in the 4 days that I was there, oct 14-18 and I was bitten by bedbugs; have had to have everything fumigated on my return home. The elevator was a small cage, circled by the stairs that were dark and unsafe. I had to stand outside the hotel on my departure...

The hotel is really close to Notre Dame, and a really nice neighborhood with little streets packed with restaurants and cafes. There's a metro station not too far. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean, though pretty small... especially the shower.

Well, where do I start? May be with the fact that one of our suitcase had to be left in the lobby because it would not fit in the lift along with my husband, or the fact that once you got into the shower there was no room to close the bathroom door or the shower screen, or could it...

Coming from Australia to a reasonably priced hotel in central Paris is a bit of a shock but you don't come to Paris to sit in your room and the location was fantastic. Admittedly my group had great weather every day so that enhanced our experience. As expected the rooms are quite small with very narrow shower cubicles. Probably a...

Literally a stone's throw from the intersection of Blvd. St. Germain and Blvd. St Michel in the Latin Quarter, this place's location couldn't be any better. It's a two-star hotel with air conditioning, telephone, free internet connections, and full bathrooms. The desk staff are friendly, helpful, and multilingual. They will provide directions and book almost anything you want. The rooms...

Stayed here with my friend for 4 nights (my 2nd trip to Paris) location wise it's fab central and lots of nice restaurants, cafes and bars close by. St Michael and odeon is a short walk away. However when we first arrived we found several pubic hairs dotted around the bathroom which we didn't report as we thought language barrier...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
