has to be the cutest/best hotel for the price—great value!
We were truly charmed by the Hotel Taylor. Having stayed in cities such as Rome, London, Vienna in mid-range hotels such as this, this way by far the cleanest, cutest, and most hospitable experience we’ve had thus far. I have to imagine it was the best hotel we could have found for the same price. We are accustomed to European hotels having a slightly lower standard compared to the same “star level” at an American hotel, but the Hotel Taylor was certainly on par. The rooms are normal European sized (smaller than US but on par for Europe). The service was outstanding—impeccably clean, attentive and responsive staff, delicious and well-stocked breakfast. The decor was so cohesive and really brought the whole hotel together to make you feel stylish and glamorous. The location was also great—enough restaurants and shops around to be cute and entertaining, but enough removed from the extremely touristy areas to be quiet and safe. The neighborhood definitely had a charming French character. Around a 7 minute walk to metro stations. Would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to Paris! Can’t wait to be back!

    Select and quiet hotel
The rooms compared to Paris standard are very spacious, extremly clean and quiet, the decor is tastefull. Beakfast was delicious and all safety policies respected. Cleaning is made daily, towels replaced. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The hotel is locaded on a quiet street, verly close to bistros and cafes, also a 15 min walk to Pompidou centre and 20 min walk to Notre Dame. I highly recommend it for a trip to Paris, even for longer days ( i stayed for 1 week ).

    Excellent value spacious quality
This hotel is perfectly located in central Paris and as its in a quiet road it’s really calm. The breakfast was excellent and the room size correct. There are tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. The personnel were efficient and very polite

Friend booked us two solo rooms for the World Cup rugby. Hotel is well located and a quick walk from the Republic tube station, but down a quiet street, with lots of eating places at the end of the road. The hotel staff were friendly and efficient and they have a nice small breakfast room, food was good albeit a bit limited. The bedroom was small, but modern, super comfortable and spotlessly clean. The lift at the hotel is small so you may have to wait a while if the hotel is busy. The hotel doesn’t have a big reception area, which is understandable given the nature of the hotel building. The hotel was good value, I would definitely revisit.

Great location 5 mins walk to Republic train station. Very clean room, good breakfast and friendly staff. Good neighbourhood restaurants and bars. Comfortable bed… only negative is that the shower leaks and runs out to the bedroom carpet.

Taylor Hotel is clean, central, and easy to walk to restaurants, bars etc. The room was small but big enough, and included soft drinks from the minibar - a nice touch. The shower is absurdly small. I'm not a big guy, but I could barely move in it. It's definitely the smallest shower I have ever had in a hotel. That said, I would stay there again.

Taylor is a pretty hotel in a central location, but on a quiet street. Ideal, in other words. This being Paris the rooms are very small for the price, but the beds are comfy, the downstairs areas are nice, and the drinks (non-alcoholic) in the minibar are free. The only real downside - for us - was that the toilet kept leaking water after flushing, as in permanently, so the room never really got quiet at night. The biggest plus is the friendly staff. All in all, I can warmly recommend the hotel.

The location was just minutes from the Republique metro station and was super convenient for my purposes. The staff was curtious and helpful. The hotel was beautifully appointed and the bathroom looked spotless. My only complaint was that the room was overrun with moths. If I had been staying longer, I may have asked to be moved. As I was only in Paris for the weekend, I put up with it, but I think I squished over 30 moths in the 2 nights I was there. I would hesitate to return for this reason. I definitely would not stay there with anything wool.

The Taylor Hotel was an amazing experience. The staff was friendly, always available and very kind, the space and room very comfortable, clean, well located, with a very good and tasty breakfast. We could walk to the main points of the city even though transportation like bus and metro was just around the corner. The area was full of cafes, restaurants, shops, and the good part: out of the mass tourism area but close enough of all you want to visit. We went with a small child, and everything went perfect. Highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you Taylor Hotel.

Some very good points - great location, good breakfast. Room was small, but not unexpectedly so for central Paris, and fine for what we needed. However, a couple of disappointing issues would stop me staying there again. It may be because we were on the top floor, but shower pressure was poor, and availability of hot water was a lottery. Also air conditioning was ineffective - even in March room became uncomfortably warm, so I would imagine it could be more of a problem in summer.

I spent one night here and it was great. Check-in was easy, the location is great, the price is reasonable. The room is small, but that is normal for Paris; the bed was very comfortable and water pressure in the shower was good. Room was clean. Breakfast buffet was good.
