    Wonderful experience!
The hotel had the boutique Parisien charm we wanted in a fabulous location. From here, it was a short 6 minute stroll to Nôtre Dame and an easy 12 minute walk to the Louvre. We needed a taxi or Uber to get to the Eiffel Tower and some other touristy parts of the city but knew that up front and had planned our visit with that in mind. Our room (Double Deluxe) was beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable, as was the bathroom. The staff were welcoming and always helpful, booking dinner reservations for us, offering guidance and suggestions, and arranging a private car to take us to the airport. We opted to include the continental breakfast, which was a perfect start to each day. Upon check-in, they even gave us a card for a complimentary drink at the bar-restaurant they also own on the corner. We used it our first evening to have a nightcap. I highly recommend Hotel Villa d’Estrees!

Perfect location, exceptional staff, but room amenities need work
Overall, this is a wonderful boutique hotel located on a quiet street that borders St Germain and the Latin Quarter. It's a short walk to the metro station which is also serviced by RER B if you want to take the train to and from CDG without having to change lines. It's in walking distance to many key attractions including the Louvre. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe at night going out to bistros I frequent in St Germain and walking home past midnight. The rooms are large by Paris standards, and well appointed BUT need more attention and some upgrades. The closets are mostly shelves and if you need to hang a dress or longer coat, the bar is so low and there's no hook on the door so you'll have to hang it in the bathroom or drape it over a chair. The safe in one room (the staff was excellent and helped me change rooms) was on the closet floor which was filthy. The coffee maker in both rooms had old water in it and bad discharge when I ran a cleaning round before attempting to use it. The bathroom toiletries are "family style" Gilchrist & Soames meaning you're using the same container for soap, shampoo, etc. as all the previous guests which is gross and as much as i support "green" initiatives, this is just being cheap. It's also time to replace the pillows. Having said that, I would stay here again because the staff was super exceptional, responded to my concerns, extremely helpful with any questions, and above and beyond in terms of service.

Superb Service, Well Located, Large Rooms for Paris
I was due to spend around 3 weeks in this lovely, boutique 4 star but my stay was cut short as my wife had to undergo surgery back in Sydney. Laetitia Chevance was very understanding and refunded the bulk of my room tariff without demur. All the staff are superb, with special mention to Willy and Guillaume. My room was 27m2 and located at the rear of the hotel, so was exceptionally quiet for a Parisian hotel. There is a host of eateries, boulangeries etc all close at hand. My only gripe is a minor one, the bathrooms while everything works well do need an upgrade. A lovely hotel and highly recommended.

Our stay for one week was wonderful at the Villa d'entrees. Our room was clean and beautiful. The staff Amy, Guillame and Alexander were so helpful suggesting restaurants and making us some reservations. Breakfast was lovely in lobby. It was like being in a beautiful large 30's sitting room. The location was great - close to most major sights and so many restaurants. This hotel made our visit to Paris even better.

Location is perfect. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms could be updated. If you are looking for elegance this is not the place for you it has more of an authentic vibe. Overall this hidden gem is a great place to stay.

I have no idea why this would be classified as a four star hotel. It is old and dated and really needs a face lift. It is in a great location and the employees are wonderful. They need to put some money into this hotel and give it a proper face lift. I feel like we got bamboozled and we weren’t the only ones. We witnessed another couple leaving after one night saying they just couldn’t stay. We wished we had done the same. The beds were harder and a rock and bathroom facet didn’t worked properly. They turned off google reviews so you can’t leave a proper review.

Lovely boutique hotel on quiet street in fabulous location. Only 10 or so rooms. Great service. This is a perfect place to stay for a new visitor to Paris. Around the corner there is a great buzz of street cafes and is only a few minutes walk from some of the major attractions. We were delighted with our stay here

You can't beat this location - steps from the metro St. Michelle. The staff were very nice, good breakfast in morning. The room was very large but could be better appointed. It was a bit warm and they hadn't turned the air on yet for the season, so the room was stuffy. Keeping the window open was a bit loud, although located on a very quite street. The bathroom could use some updating - the tub was very narrow to stand in. Not sure this is quite a 4 star but very comfortable. Location is great for restaurants and ease of walking everywhere.

The hotel was conveniently located a few hundred feet from a metro stations and a train station. They were plenty of cafe's and bars to choose from each evening with lively people. But the main reason to stay here is the service we received from the staff, especially Willy. Airline "missplaced" one of ours bags and Willy stayed in contact with the airline to insure our bag arrived. Once the bag was sent the hotel Wiily had it delivered to our room while we were out and he sent a text via Whatsapp to let me know it arrived.

We stayed in room 502 at the Villa d'Estrees for 6 nights in mid-March. A charming boutique hotel with classic Parisian decor in the Latin Quarter, perfect central location on a quiet street off the Place Saint Michel. Hotel staff was genial and accommodating, rooms were cleaned and restocked daily. My only complaint is that the bed seemed a bit hard and the walls are a bit thin. However, these things did not detract from a wonderful stay.

Such a lovely little gem of a hotel. Only 2 rooms per floor. Rooms large and comfortable, very nicely decorated and in perfect condition. Very helpful staff. just a block off the Seine in the Latin Quarter. Nice lively area, but the hotel is on a quiet street, it steps from a metro stop, Norte Dame, and other attractions. You may want to keep the address handy on your cell phone so you can show it to cab drivers.
