The location is great, a short walk to the charms of Montmatre with all its charms. It is in a quiet side street but close to the action. Buses run close by on which we were able to travel to all the main sights. Turn right out of entrance and the next road has many bars/restaurants to chose from.
It is an old building, so be prepared for some quirks. The lift we used is snug, just two of us could fit in. We had the family room on third floor and it was very well laid out for five. We certainly did not feel crammed into the room. It had a safe, tea/coffee facilities. A small fridge in the room which was handy for the hungry children we had with us and milk for the tea. There are toiletries in the bathroom (the toilet is separate) and plenty of towels, also a hairdryer in the bathroom. There is a tv in the room too.
We did not have breakfast included but our grandchildren loved coming home to find free pastries which had been prepared but not eaten at breakfast. This was nice for those who did have breakfast as they could be sure that all was fresh each day.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our airport pick-up and the man on reception could not have been more helpful to us.
I would certainly stay here on any trip to Paris, we felt safe in the heart of a busy centre with all we needed on our doorstep

This hotel is located in an excellent position as it is in a quiet and non-transit street but still two minutes from the Pigalle metro stop and a 5 minute walk from the Montmartre district which is lively even in the evening with its clubs and restaurants.

Despite the incredibly helpful and friendly staff and perfect location within walking distance to most places, I must be honest about my experience with the hotel. While parking was free during certain hours, securing a spot was difficult during our three-day stay. The rooms, unfortunately, did not match the photos and were much smaller than expected. The elevators were tiny and slow, making them difficult to use, and the bathroom, especially the shower, was not suitable for taller individuals. The facilities desperately need renovation, as the rooms were unattractive and poorly lit. While the location and staff were exceptional, they weren't enough to compensate for the shortcomings of the hotel.

Great hotel in a fantastic location, just off Rue Martyres. Easy to find and close to Pigalle metro stop. Lots of restaurants around. All the staff were so helpful. Arranged a last minute shuttle after we realized the metro with our luggage was a bad idea & Uber was giving us crazy prices. Finding a hotel that fits a family of 5 in Paris is hard, especially in such a great location and that isn’t terribly expensive. Hotel Migny was wonderful. We were on the top floor (6th) and the elevator broke after our first day, which was the only downside.

The hotel is old and very expensive for the infratstructure you get (more than 1400 Euro: Wednesday - Sunday)
The photos don`t correspond to the reality.
The rooms are small, especially the bathroom and the toilet room (we had a 5 member room for 2 adults and 1 child).
The beds and the ventilation system are of bad quality.
The quality of the breakfast... (14 Euro per person).. low standart... as are the rooms you are dining in (in front of the reception desk) ... I didn`t see this before.
The staff of the hotel... just physically present... the concierge we checked in at the beginning .... very unfriendly and unprofessional.
I wonder this building can be called "Hotel".
Is this Montmartre ? Savoir vivre ? French lifestyle and courtesy ?

Only the location is saved (near the metro).

For the rest it was a completely negative experience. Small, dirty and old room and not to mention the bathroom, with the we inserted in such a small room that you have to keep the door open to sit. Old, damaged and yellowed sanitary ware. The sink cabinet that was just opened was very dirty and completely ruined. Breakfast at 14 euros per person is scandalous to say the least.

We booked two nights for 5 people 1 family room. Four days before the Reservation you will be retained from your account 50% of the agreed price, in my case 430€. When we arrive you are charged the full amount and told that tomorrow you will have released the money withheld. I call my bank and they say I have to wait another week.... I don't understand that policy without telling the customer.

I’m surprised this was rated 8 this is a 1. With over 20 years hospitality experience one of the worst ever. Firstly upon entering foul sewage smell. Small reception areas 2 people could not be in the same area. Breakfast I assume was continental I saw pastry fruit juice I did not have. Very steep staircase. Elevator only 2 persons at at a time - very cramped space if you are cluster phobic do not take the elevator. An average person has to turn side ways to get in. Room was not as pictured. Very small low beds. Dingy sheets. Room furniture was dusty. Toilet extremely small when I sat on my feet were in the living room the door could not close with me comfortably. Shower was tiny could not turn around in it. I wanted to check out the first 5 minutes after however I could not get a refund. For the price I paid I expected better and if it was not so costly I would have forfeited the nights and stayed else where but with a family of 5 it was already expensive. We asked for ice the first night and got a cup. Second night was told 20 mins as it has to make ice. The third night quite rudely we were told there is none the kitchen is closed. Close to a general area of food, shops and train station. I will not recommend this hotel and again very surprised it is still on the list of hotel options.

My friends and I traveled to Paris to celebrate my 21st birthday and stayed here at Hotel Migney. We had the best experience as we were greeted with warm welcomes, croissants, and big smiles. This place blew our expectations away as the room was very clean upon entering, cleaned every day, had very comfortable beds and great air circulation. Not to mention the towels were replaced each day and the room was tidied. When we would walk down in the morning the staff would be so happy to see us and ask our plans for the day with genuine excitement. We would like to thank Abdel and Bless for making our experience so memorable. They were seriously the best! If you are thinking about staying here, do it!
