This is a small hotel ten minutes’ walk from Gare Montparnasse and right next to the Gaîté metro station. It’s in an area with plenty of choice of restaurants and bars – and, if you don’t mind having to take the metro to get anywhere...More

Small but comfortable room. Ask for one in the back as we did - very quiet. Lift very small as typical of Paris hotels. Breakfast croissants etc very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Metro station right outside only took 10 mins to get to Louvre.

The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small
gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
