Stayed twice across a 3 week period, excellent location for high-end shopping (only a one block away). Local area very quiet and very safe, with lots of cafes and restaurants a short walk away. Rooms are modernised, whilst staying authentic, housekeeping was good, very little noise between rooms too, check-in and check-out efficient. We will return.

Great hotel staff, were able to reservations at all the top spots and tours. Were able to have a wonderful experience with concierge services. 10/10 Very nice boutique, much more personal experience than visiting the larger hotels. Great location, next to the shopping area, but quite street. All tourist locations were within 10 minutes. Special thank you to Romain.

i brought my wife to the San Regis for our 20th anniversary. We initially chose the hotel and room for the fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower. The experience exceeded my highest hopes. The view was unmatched. The room was elite for a very competitive price. The staff was beyond professional and very engaging. They surpassed any hotel team we encountered during our two week trip through France. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are sure to return the next time visit.

Our stay at the San Regis was wonderful! The staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel was beautiful. We stayed in a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower from our terrace. It was far better than the pictures on the website. We didn't want to leave! I would highly recommend staying at the San Regis!

Great room, balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower, PERFECT for Bastille Day fireworks. Service is so friendly, really like a a family welcoming you home. A couple of wishes: The hotel has no gym and there are no USB ports for charging in the guest room. Still, can’t wait to return!

Dear Guest, On behalf of all the San Regis family, I would like to thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience with us. Perfect location indeed for Bastille Day! There was no better way to watch the famous fireworks than from the terrace of your Terrace Junior Suite! By the way, compliments for the wonderful pictures taken from your terrace! We are also touched by your words on our friendly service. Our aim is indeed to make our guests feel as if they were in a family house and not just a hotel. Glad to read it has been the case with you. You underscore the San Regis is not provided with a gym which is right. Being a private townhouse built in 1857, with only 42 rooms, we do not have space to insert a gym. Nevertheless, there are several fitness centers within walking distance from the hotel and also many picturesque routes to exercise, in the nearby parks and along the river Seine! Thank you for suggesting USB ports in our room, this is a very good idea we will share with our Management. Let's hope you will be able to plan another Paris escape to our "Elegant and Quiet Gem"! All the San Regis team is looking forward to welcoming you back. With best regards, Jerome Joubert Guest Relations Manager.

This hotel and the people who work there are truly incredible. The service, the location, the food, the quality, the attention to detail. Absolutely impeccable all around. These amazing people who work here make you feel like a celebrity, they are always available for anything you need. Hopefully you're lucky enough to meet George! He works nights (the man is a life saver). He made us food and drinks in the middle of the night, always attentive, and saved us from missing our flight. This was by FAR the best service I've ever had anywhere.. Very impressed! Thank you George and San Regis!!

Dear Suzbug190, Thank you very much for sharing your satisfaction after your recent Paris escape at the Hotel San Regis. We are especially grateful for your words on the San Regis staff members. We are indeed fortunate to have a team of passionate people who will always go above and beyond, to make you feel "like a celebrity" as you write. Their aim is precisely to create bespoke experiences and ensure our guests feel as if they were at Home! We will share of course your words with George, our "guardian angel" of the San Regis during the night. He is a loyal member of the San Regis family for almost 30 years! He knows every single habit of each of our valued returning guests. He ensures they have the same newspaper, at the exact time with the same delicious fresh coffee George prepares every morning. People stop by to chat with him because they know there is always a personal attention ...and a good laugh at the end! Should there be a situation during the night, nothing is impossible to George. His tasks are fulfilled with dedication and professionalism. Merci George! We sincerely hope you will return to "your Home in Paris" soon. George and all the team members of the San Regis look forward to welcoming you back! With best regards, Jerome Joubert Guest Relations Manager.

The San Regis is a great luxury hotel. I strongly recommend room 71, it's like being in a movie. The marble bathroom was fantastic, and the terrace with the view was incredible. From the terrace, you can see many of Paris' famous attractions including La Tour Eiffel.

Dear NPPug, We wish to thank you for posting your excellent review on TripAdvisor. This is most rewarding that you consider our Family House as a "great luxury hotel". You had the chance to stay in room 71, one of our four Terrace Junior Suites. Located on our top 6th and 7th floors, they are all provided with a private terrace offering a breathtaking view to the Eiffel Tower as well as many of Paris' attractions. Sipping a glass of Champagne on the terrace, watching the Tower sparkling every evening, or even enjoying breakfast with Paris at your feet, this is indeed like being in a movie! Thank you for highlighting also the gorgeous marble bathroom. We hope you will be able to plan another magical stay at the San Regis. The Eiffel Tower will be there for you! With best regards, Jerome Joubert. Guest Relations Manager.

We have stayed at the San Regis perhaps four times over the last 30 years. We have enjoyed it every time. To us, in a word (or two), it is the quintessential French luxury boutique hotel. Yes, it is compact, with but 42 rooms. That said, it is a small beauty. On our first visit, circa 1990, it was a 4* hotel. For us, it was love at first sight. We were with another couple, and shared a nice suite. Yes, the sitting room was small, but comfortable for four of us. The elevator is classic. With the four of us, once inside, fortunately, we were “close” friends. Or at least we were by the time we got off. We still laugh at the memory. Think four-ample sized adults in a pre-cell phone telephone booth. On our most recent trip, we were a party of six, so we took the elevator in two shifts. LOL. In the process of the upgrade of the hotel from category 4* to 5*, there seems to have been a significant renovation (I say “seems,” but 30 years ago is a challenge to my now senior-level memory.) In any case, the two-bedroom suite we occupied with another couple on this visit was a gem, spotlessly clean and classically furnished in a traditional French manner. A tip: yes, as noted in another review, the air conditioning struggles during warm weather to keep a cool room for sleeping at night. Considering the building is perhaps 100 years old, this is not shocking. That said, we found it curious that the bedding included a heavy comforter without a separate top sheet under the comforter. At night, it was too warm with the comforter, and too cool with it pulled back and nothing over us. The staff was kind enough change out the heavy comforter the next day for a light blanket, but even then, it was enclosed inside the pocket of a double sheet, still too warm for the summer weather we experienced. A single sheet between the bottom sheet and the comforter would have allowed for good sleeping under just a single sheet had we had asked, but now we were checking out to continue our journey. All-in-all, the San Regis is a great choice. Understand that this is not the Georges VI (where we’ve stayed when we have wanted that $$$$$ experience), but the San Regis is the small gem that succeeds as a luxury boutique accommodation with a great location in a wonderful city.

Dear valued guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience at the San Regis. We truly appreciate your loyalty over the past 30 years and are delighted to hear that you have enjoyed every stay with us! Your description of our hotel as the quintessential French luxury boutique hotel warms our hearts. We take great pride in providing a unique and intimate experience for our guests, and it is fantastic to know that we have succeeded in creating a memorable atmosphere for you. We understand that our hotel may be compact with only 42 rooms, but we believe that this adds to its charm and exclusivity. It brings us joy to know that despite its size, the San Regis has always been able to provide you with comfort and satisfaction throughout the years. It is lovely to hear about your first visit back in 1990 when we were still a 4-star hotel. Your « love at first sight » experience resonates deeply with us, as it reflects the passion we put into maintaining the elegance and allure of our establishment. We are glad that you found our suite accommodating for both couples during your stay. While some may find the sitting room small, we strive to ensure it remains comfortable for all guests by carefully selecting furnishings and optimizing space utilization. Our classic elevator holds many cherished memories within its walls, including those shared among close friends like yourselves. We're thrilled that it added an extra touch of nostalgia during your time here. Once again, thank you for sharing such kind words about the Hotel San Regis. It would be an absolute pleasure to welcome you back on future visits so that we can continue exceeding your expectations with exceptional service tailored just for you. With best regards, Jerome Joubert Guest Relations Manager
