Detailed Reviews
After 14hrs on the plane, this is our first stop. Reached at 10am and they're very kind to allow us to check in. Thank you once again.
Attention to detail on furnishing and display of food at breakfast are obviously high on their priority list. Maybe too much on the furnishing, many impractical designs in the room. The TV is hidden behind the mirror which you can't see ANYTHING if you've some lights on. And because of this "Clever idea" of the TV, it doesn't allow this hotel to have a bigger TV should they want an "upgrade". Shower area is spacious but there's no holder to put your shower gel or face wash, have to put it on the floor. All the drawers can't be opened. The person who design the room really should travel more and stay in hotel so he/she realize how silly they were.
We'd the Junior Suite, room is not particularly big. Bathroom is spacious.
Breakfast is excellent. Is small but quality is very good. The fruits selection are so good. Though I've to say their chefs can't cook a good omelette. 3 days of omelette looks more like pancake very flat and doesn't taste very good.
Gym is not 24hr though they say opens at 7am, we can still head there at 530am but the place will be dark, lights will be switched on only at 6am. Machines are very new and gym is small. The pool is nice. Sauna and Steam room are small.
Staff are all very polite but the dining area all the staff tends to wear the mask to cover their mouth only. Also, they're relax on guest who refuse to wear mask.
We enjoy having wine at the open area. Wine by the glass is all very good. They also serve us complimentary Truffle Cashew nuts, nice!
Overall is a lovely place and location is good. However I can see a problem during peak season as the Spa and gym will be packed.

I cannot praise our time staying at the La Demeure Montaigne enough! We stayed in Paris for a girls trip to celebrate our birthdays. The special birthday extras of a bottle of champagne (delicious might I add) and birthday banner made our welcome even more festive. The staff were wonderful, particularly concierge and the bar staff. The hotel suites, bathrooms, and all common areas were impeccably clean. Although on the smaller side, plenty big for two guests. The decor of the rooms were modern, yet elegant. Beds felt like clouds; provided a very comfortably rest. We even had turndown service several times a day, noting housekeeping would come and refreshen our rooms during the day and evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone - definitely worth the price point.

This was my sixth stay at La Demeure Montaigne. It has become my absolute home in Paris and I look forward to each stay there. Everyone in the hotel knows me. They greet me by my name and in such a wonderful way as soon as I arrive They help me practice my French and we talk about football and the beach in Miami. I feel as if they have become my true friends!! As usual, the lobby is stunning, the Café Crème is the best I have ever had, the rooms are immaculate with delicious bedding, and plush robes, slippers and towels. Each room has a beautiful bathroom with a large shower and delicious smelling soaps. The rooms are cleaned to perfection twice each day. The rooms are quite large for a Parisian hotel, and some of the suites have Eiffel Tower views. I love the rooms with a balcony-they have a delightful Parisian view. The rooms are quiet and luxurious, with every detail thought out to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is important to note that the location of the hotel is also truly incredible - with the best shopping, restaurants, and famous streets and monuments (Champs Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower just a short walk away. But the absolute best thing about the hotel are the people who work there. They are incredibly friendly and kind, and they fulfill any request immediately: more towels, dinner reservations, a taxi at the last minute, tickets to museums, help carrying heavy shopping bags, a caring smile,… it’s all done with genuine care. The service at La Demeure Montaigne is truly unparalleled, i would not dream of staying anywhere else !! I have already booked my next trip and I can’t wait to return! I give La Demeure a 100/10. It is really that amazing. Really! This is a gem of a hotel in the best location in Paris with the best service and every amenity. Merci mes amis comme toujours pour tout!!’

In short, my wife and I would not recommend this hotel for the following reasons;
1. We booked a valentines package booking which included a treatment for both of us. My wife was denied her treatment due to being pregnant. We were not informed in advance this would be a problem. Perhaps we would’ve booked another hotel that would accommodate her pregnancy if we had known it to be a problem.
2. Our room was like a sauna on check-in, air conditioning was apparently programmed remotely and needed a technician to change it. We checked in on a Saturday and it was only possible to change the air conditioning on Monday. Obviously, no weekend maintenance around. Was offered a Dyson fan the first two nights to help with the room temperature.
3. House-keeping team took my wife’s bikini from our room when cleaning the bathroom. Obviously it was a mistake, it must have got wrapped up in the dirty laundry when the bathroom was cleaned in the evening but when queried with front desk the conversation was uncomfortable. It felt like we were accusing them of taking it. Hotel staff bought some other persons swim wear to us asking if it was ours - it was nothing like how we described it. After that it took a few conversations and escalation to get them to look again. They did eventually find it however. Not much of an apology either.
4) As a gesture of good will for point 1, the hotel did give us a discount one night, a small treat in the room and breakfast the next day, which was nice of them but didn’t make us feel satisfied overall. We didn’t think the breakfast was good and were glad we didn’t add it to our booking at 30 EUR per person per day. It’s overpriced for the small range of items they offer and the quality is very average.
In light of the above, the service, price and quality of the hotel fall below the expectations one has of a 5 star hotel. Sadly, we wouldn’t come back here again.

Room that does not correspond to the photos (there must have been a bathtub). The staff at reception didn't know how to do anything (wrong room service order, problematic check-in, check out ending with the mistreatment of my partner AND the debiting of my stay TWICE on my card, a problem that I'm still trying to resolve) . In the spa, no one welcomes you. And the room… the room… the smell of hygienic products like a three-star hotel, Kitsch decoration and furniture giving the impression of being bought on Ikea. Conclusion: 3.5 star hotel pretending to be 5 star thanks to its clever website. Reception staff without any know-how (at least those of the evening and night of January 17 to 18). And the mistreatment of my companion at check out while I was on my plane for another mistake by the staff regarding the payment I had already made! The fault is mine: I finally understood that in Paris, a real 5-star hotel is never less than 1000 euros per night. Pay a little more and stay at Plaza Athénée or Shangri-La. At least you will find omnipresent attention to detail as well as staff who do not sulk when you criticize them politely and with know-how. I will never come to La Demeure Montaigne again.

Wow! I absolutely adored this spa hotel! The staff went above and beyond for all of our requests. They were so kind and efficient. The room was so well kept and luxury. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they clean your room twice a day and even put out your slippers for you at night. The spa and pool were divine. I spent many of my evening in there and it was a much need relaxing trip. I will most definitely be staying here again. I’ve already recommended this trip to my mom and she’s already booked a stay here as well.

+1
I'am actually slightly hesitant to write this review because it's so beautiful, I don't want to share the secret, but this was my second visit to the hotel and it was absolutely amazing. The hotel itself has a wonderful atmosphere, being relatively new in comparison with others, every aspect of the hotel was fresh, new and modern. The room we stayed in had a view of the Eiffel Tower which when lit up at night was simply magical. The spa, and pool were again a delight, the treatments themselves were not up to standard I'd expect but this may of just been down to the therapist I had on this occasion. That would be my only negative of the trip. The breakfast was really lovely great offering of food and location wise we felt like we were in the heart of Paris the shopping streets were only a mins walk away and all easily accessible. The staff we encountered in the bar and at reception were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely return for a third visit.

This is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in, and their greatest asset are their staff. The restaurant staff are the best, the housekeeping are impeccable, the front desk staff are absolutely fantastic and the concierge is able to perform miracles in acquiring tickets.
We stayed for a week in two rooms with the family, the rooms are similar to most boutique hotels in size, but are very nicely decorated and practical.
The hotel is located ideally as well, 10 mins walk to some very nice restaurants, Champs De Elysee(10 mins walk), Arc de Triomphe(20 mins walk), Eiffel Tower(25 mins walk)
Just to give an example of the feat the staff will go to, my daughter woke up in the middle of the night and vomited, within minutes the staff were in the room changing the bedsheets and cleaning the mess, and there were many more instances of their exceptional service. I will definitely be staying here for my next visit to Paris.

Me and my significant other decided to elope in Paris and booked La Demeure, and what a great decision it was! I sent notes in advance with some requests to help prepare for our special day (which was off the property) and Pauline responded with very detailed emails to accommodate us in every way. We had a sunrise ceremony so my makeup/hair artist and the videographer arrived very early in the morning, which the team was so accommodating about. They even gave us a space for a few hours for my now husband to get ready so I could still surprise him with my final bridal look. There were so many other little details they took care of too, like taking delivery of and storing our small wedding cake to be served at dinner for us later. Other personal touches included handwritten congratulatory notes, and they really surprised us with a beautifully decorated room when we returned from our ceremony complete with roses, balloons, and candles! We had our reception dinner in the restaurant on-site and Simon, the manager, took care of us so well. Decorating the table and providing a vase so I could use my bouquet as a centerpiece, even giving us a bottle of champagne and going above and beyond to find the wine we wanted.
I also have to mention Khaled, the night time manager, who was so lovely and even helped us when we were trying to catch the Eiffel Tower sparkle in time. Everyone was really so attentive.
Besides the fabulous team here, the location of the hotel is perfect and near all the great shopping and Paris sights. The decor is beautiful, very chic and modern. Everything was also very clean and pristine.
Thank you La Demeure for going above and beyond to make a special time for us that much sweeter.
We would love to return when in Paris again.

Pros: the location and the facilities generally. The house keeping staff was wonderful. The front desk staff were also good but they didn’t address a room service issue properly so in my book, that’s a minus.
Cons: The restaurant and the room service is BAD. They only run efficiently for bar services and breakfast otherwise, there they are at best, useless. The hotel needs to a better job with having an operational restaurant service with better menu options. Their menu overall is so limited and nothing for kids. 5 star property that can’t make French fries for kids. For $1200 a night, it is unacceptable that they don’t have an operational and functional dinning option. The staff at the restaurant needs to be trained in proper guest etiquette. You can’t offer 3 star etiquette at a 5 star hotel. Their room service delivery staff was argumentative and rude.
