small but tidy rooms - i guess that is what one would expect from a budget hotel in Paris. Friendly staff. Good location - within walking distance of 3 - 4 metro stations. One station with a direct line to Bir Hakeim (Eiffel Tower) and another with direct connection to Montmartre (Sacre Cour)

A very warm and generous welcome by the staff. Very easy booking in process. The rooms are basic, clean and functional (all you need really). One small problem was fixed within 15 minutes. Perfectly reasonable hotel in a convenient location surrounded by good eateries.

Even though this is a typical Ibis with very small rooms, the price is great, but the staff are not that helpful and welcoming. Also, for the money, I think you could find a better property elsewhere in a better neighborhood. The Metro is a bit of a walk and I wouldn't want to walk back to this hotel late...

My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed here for one night before joining a larger group at another motel. The reception staff were very helpful and allowed us into our room prior to the usual book in time. The room itself was tiny. A double and a single with a bench/desk and some hanging space. There was literally only 50...

Small, clean and cozy room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice staff! Good position (very close to Gare Montparnasse, if you want to go to Versailles, and close to many other objectives: Montparnasse cemetery, Montparnasse tower, Sena, Les Invalides, etc. I didn't have a fridge in my room.

Came in out of the cold without a reservation on a Friday night, got a nice reasonable rate. Clean quiet room, a bit small but cozy. The eating area was a bit tight on space, but decent. The personnel was excellent, helpful, friendly. Nothing fancy but fine.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
