This is very near the gare de l'est and that is the most positive I can be about this hotel. The room is tiny, stingy, smelly and VERY noisy. No facilities in the room and pretty expensive. I've stayed in many hotels in the gare de l'Est gare du Nord area and this must be the worst I've experienced.

this hotel offers all what you need in Paris with good price , location is amazing, it's just 3 m away from the station stairs, with 3 or 4 lines connects to most of the city , and to the CDG airport in just 30 minutes , i choose this place coz it's just cross the street from Gare de...

For the price this hotel is OK. Small rooms but good bathrooms, prime location for trips anywhere in Paris including CDG airport. Right next to to Gar Du Est station. Lots of eating palces in 5 mins distance. Peaceful and quiet location even though on the main road.

Booked this hotel primarily for its location right across the street from Gare Est as we had an early train to Strasbourg. Room was dark and old but clean and warm and check in and check out were a breeze. Wi-Fi was good and we didn't partake in breakfast. Hotel is adequate for 1 night stay but any longer you'll...

We stayed here in 2009 and came back due to the proximity to Gare le Est station. Our trains started from Est and it was a breeze to just cross the road with our luggage. The hotel itself was a mixed bag - lot of goodies but still lacks in sophistication. One of the three reception managers is a rude...

I stayed at the Modern Est' for 2 nights and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful regarding maps, metro routes and breakfast spots. I liked that there was metro access just outside the door of the hotel (which helped a lot during the rainy periods) and that the hotel...

Good location just by the Gare d'Est and some good restaurants close by. The staff are friendly and helpful. We're not talking 5* de luxe but I was well satisfied for what I paid. Very clean and good shower. I'd stay again

Great hotel for the price. The location is great - a little too far to walk to Notre Dame, but easy to get a bus straight down there. Of course there is a train station right outside the door. It is a nice walk over to the canal to the east, then walk north along the canal to the Quai...

Conveniently located near Gare de l'Est train station as well as several Metro lines, when I have to be in Paris (once or twice a month) I do not need to think twice I just stay in Modern Est Hotel. Simple and clean, friendly staff, always a nice chitchat with the guy at the front desk when I check in...

A very good location near the main stations and tourist restaurants - rather noisy in the street but the windows are very good at sound-proofing. The lift is very small (two people at a time) and the rooms are not very generous. The shower room is small but functional although having a shower is difficult given the space available. The...
