I travelled with my family at the end of August. The hotel is nice, very clean. It is situated in a great location- metro station just around the corner and many of the tourist attractions within walking distance (20 minutes to the Louver, Notre Dame, Le Mare). Lots of bars and restaurants in the area. But for me the best part of the stay was the staff. They were great, always patient and ready to help or advise. Both Audrey, Fernando, and Jasmin made our stay a wonderful experience. I would definitely stay there again.
generally the hotel is good and value for money as we manage to book it at almost 50% of the usual price. Very good location with eateries and just right beside Chatelet metro entrance, although the other entrance toward les halles is better but its just another 3 min walk away. Maybe something to improve would be the free toiletries given. body wash and shampoo should be replenished daily. there's no tooth brush and tooth paste given. the room cleaning is not really done thoroughly. the lift is way too small but i guess this is normal in paris.
Beautiful hotel, really nice clean rooms that are well decorated. Perfect central location with easy access to all the good tourist spots and stones throw from the Seine. Some of the rooms and bathrooms are a little small but if you are just using this as a base then it's perfect. Highly recommend!
Location was very convenient. Near lots of great ethnic food, which was great for variety. Agree with other reviews - bathrooms need updating. Our original room, the junior suite, had a nonfunctional toilet. The bathroom has no airflow so is like a sauna. No shower curtain. The junior suite has almost nowhere to put anything down. No counters in the bathroom. We were able to be moved to a different suite, which did have a functional toilet. No shower curtain here either. Cleaning is a bit shoddy. With COVID, we wipe everything down with our own wipes when we get in the room and the doors around the handles were dirty and stained, and there were yellow stains along the walls of the toilet room, which I did not touch. The size of the room of the 2nd suite was fine. T The fact that management was unaware of a nonfunctional toilet is worrisome as to how good housekeeping is. My party was super worried about bedbugs but we did not see any. Uncomfortable beds and really uncomfortable pillows. The night staff were very nice and helpful. There is a charge for breakfast, unlike what is listed on the popups on the website. I would NOT recommend this hotel. There are other hotels in this price range that are modernized, with more helpful staff during daytime hours, with equally convenient location. Maybe this was a 4 star level hotel once but certainly not anymore. I booked this place because it looked quaint. But there is a big difference betwen quaint and rustic, vs simply neglected.…
The hotel is beside the exit from the metro. It is walking distance to the Seine and Notre Dame, with lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The only negative was a handheld shower in the bath instead of a proper shower.
I actually booked and intended on staying at their sister hotel ( Hotel Le Lapin Blanc) but, due to COVID they had to close, so we were transferred to Hotel Des Ducs D'Anjou and were SO HAPPY they did! We had a FABULOUS time! I give it 5 stars and would go back again tomorrow! Here's why: 1. The hotel is perfectly located right smack in the middle of everything - you walk outside the door and you are just steps from all cafes, restaurants, shopping, tourist sites, metro, mall, night life, etc. etc. I couldn't have picked a better location. It was very safe as well - during all times of the day and night. 2. The hotel staff are AMAZING!!! Honestly, as my first time in Paris I was afraid Parisians would be rude to Americans (that's what most Americans told us) but Yasmine and Pierre at the front desk were like family and bent over backwards to help us with anything and everything (and I mean everything, from calling a cab and helping us bring our luggage to the cab, to printing out directions to a restaurant, to working out booking snafus from Booking.com, to COVID test guidance, etc. etc.) They were SO sweet, accommodating, funny, friendly and just fantastic!! We adored them! 3. Room for 3 people was a suite and it was extremely clean and nice sized. It was a double bed and a murphy pull down double bed - both were comfy and cozy. The only weird thing for us was there was no shower ... there was a tub with a shower nozzle and no curtain or shower door. You had to hold the shower nizzle to wash yourself - at first I was like "what??" but it was FINE and we managed and had no issue - the water got a little outside the tub but otherwise it was fine (if you are disabled or older, it may pose an issue). But, we were in PARIS so who cared if we had to hold a shower nozzle to wash?! :) 4. Elevator is very small - only fits 1-2 people without luggage and 1 person with luggage. But again, would not stop me from booking here again. 5. Did I mention Yasmine and Pierre were AMAZING! I would go back here a million times over - it made my first time in Paris with my 2 daughters just fabulous. :)…
Nice hotel in the heart of Paris , very close to the most popular places to visit and surrounded by nice restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was really good and the staff from the hotel was very nice. I definitely recommend it !
I have stayed at this hotel twice before and I love it, yes the rooms are a bit small but you don't go to Paris to spend all the time in the room, it has all the amenities you could need and still have room to move freely in the room. Bathroom is very equipped as well. The breakfast in the cellar it's amazing and great each day. You could not have better access to public transport and restaurants, all at your doorstep. The wifi it's great as well. I will stay here again. All staff was very pleasant.
Nice hotel in the heart of the city with a walking distance to the number of popular places to visit. Close to the Forum des Halles, BHV, Centre Georges Pompidou , Hotel de Ville and main transport connection station Chatelet. 15 minutes by feet to Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries. The staff is friendly and helpful. Clear rooms, equipped with electric kit, TV, free wi-if Claimed as a 4 star hotel, but bedrooms are too small. Yes, that’s normal for the Paris city center hotels but when you see this kind of hotel category you probably may be expecting more than you will finally get. So have to be ready. ) And another Paris hotels pain is sound protecting - I could hear the snoring guy from the neighbor room ))) Other than that - everything was great)
The pictures used by the hotel are incorrect and deceptive! Our room was not like any of the pictures included on Bookings.com. A tiny room and tiny bathroom. When you shower, the toilet becomes drenched in water. Unable to adjust the heat in the room and our room was extremely hot - making us feel lethargic & dehydrated each morning. Staff at the hotel said they could not assist as all the rooms are the same and the heating cannot be adjusted. For the cost of this hotel, you can get significantly better alternative options. This hotel's pricing is based on deceptive pictures of the rooms.
