We went for our anniversary and it was the most luxurious hotel we've been in! What we appreciated the most was the central location, we walked everywhere to all the museums and rarely took the metro, though that was close by when we did take it. The men at the door were very gracious, greeting us, getting us taxis, and lending umbrellas when it rained. The front desk staff also were great, check-in was smooth, only improvement would've been if we could've checked into our room early since our flight arrived in the morning. But we were able to use the gym locker rooms, store our luggage, and hit the city! One of the best parts of using a Globalist's Guest of Honor was the amazing buffet breakfast spread, which could also be room service (for those early mornings), and the upgrade to a larger room on a higher floor. We really appreciated the special champagne and treats/heart balloon left for us. If I could make 2 suggestions, breakfast order to the room was sometimes slightly off from what we ordered (still yummy!). The room cleaning service was spotty and missed the side table (we requested service every other day) and the lights could be brighters. We were given turn-down treats once but these were the best cookies I've ever had!! I can only describe them as chocolately pecan Nutella heaven. The last night, we also had someone follow us into the hotel when the doorman stepped away for a few minutes. Please insert card entrance security after midnight or something. We would stay at this hotel again!

I will preface this review by staying that we've stayed at least 80 nights in the last 5 years at the Park Hyatt Paris. In that time, we've had at least 6 different rooms and suites of varying sizes. They've all been a little bit different but the same. We've loved it since our first stay over Valentine's Day, but in the last year, however, I have noticed an increased focus on service, and the Park Hyatt keeps getting better.
What do you need to know about the PHV? First, the rooms are HUGE by Parisian (and European) standards. I particularly love the bathtub with it's soaking tub and walk-in shower. All the rooms have this. Two, there is plenty of storage space, even in the most basic category of room. It is possible to unpack and truly make this your home in Paris, which is nice. The beds are comfortable, the black out curtains are perfect for closing out the light and the noise, and the water pressure is great. We've never had a bad room at this hotel, and to the extent we've had a problem (hair dryer not working or shower not draining properly), they rectified it immediately.
Le Spa at the PHV is incredible. The body treatments and facials (with La Mer products) are outstanding, and I've never had a bad massage here. The suana and jacuzzi are the perfect way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The hours extend far beyond the opening hours, and it is included with your room rate.
We've utilized their laundry and pressing service, and they have always been very fair and returning everything promptly. The conceirge is helpful and willing to check into things, even when you aren't totally sure what you are looking for in an experience.Housekeeping is efficient, and I love the ability to electronically request it when we leave for the day and mark the door for privacy when want it.
Overall, we've never had a bad stay here. It's always solid, and many times it's absolutely perfect. We especially love it during Christmastime as Rue de la Paix is beautifully decorated and it's a short walk to Vendome (magical). There are numerous metro lines within a short walk of the hotel, so you can get anywhere easily. And though we've found Paris EXTREMELY crowded in 2023 (March, July, and December), the Park Hyatt Paris is a peaceful retreat, and if you request a quiet room, you can really block out the crowds and the noise... which is the perfect way to recharge for another day out and about in Paris.

We stayed in a standard king room and the bathroom is as large as the bedroom portion of the room. The bathroom had a sink in the shower area along with a bathtub wet room. It also had a sink in the main part of the bathroom and a separate toilet area with heated seat and cleansing jets.
The rooms have roll down outside shutters which make your room just about cave dark which is great for sleeping. Room had well stocked mini bar with coffee area and a fair amount of storage.
The property is in a great location near the Opera House Metro stop and there are a fair number of restaurants and shops near by.
We had dinner one night in the outside terrace area and the food was great as well as the service. One tip if you get breakfast included with you Hyatt status: you can get your breakfast via room service for the same price as going to the breakfast buffet in the lobby. I thought the lobby breakfast wasn't quite up to Park Hyatt standards in the lobby, but the room service breakfast was awesome.
We had a small issue with the temperature in the room, and they sent someone up right away to fix the problem.
I would come back to this property in a second on a return trip to Paris. My only one criticism was the concierge. We asked about a day trip to Reims and the concierge barely gave us any advice or help on how to book the trip. Maybe he was having a bad day or something.
Obviously, it's not a cheap hotel, but you get what you pay for.

This was our fourth stay at this lovely hotel in Paris. We used a Hyatt suite upgrade which guaranteed a low level suite but the front desk provided a beautiful upgraded suite with separate large living room with sofas and desk, two full large bathrooms, two closets and a king sized bedroom. It was a Wow hotel room. Linens and towels were very nice. There were accessible plugs to charge our electronic devices, including some universal plugs…no adapter required. There were bedside controls for lights and blackout shutters. The breakfast buffet is quite sumptuous and the room beautifully decorated and maintained. Since our room was not ready when we checked in the hotel provided complimentary drinks in the bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt Vendome and every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. From the moment we stepped out of our transportation and we were greeted and swept away by the 3 doorman. Our checkin went smoothly and we were personally escorted to our room by your front desk manager who is very kind and gave us the information we needed to be prepared for our stay. She was very personable and extremely polite. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom was vey spacious with beautiful marble shower and bathtub which was lovely to soak in after a full day of exploring all that Paris has to offer. We were delighted to see a lovely bottle of Champagne waiting for us and a beautifully made chocolate cookie! There was also a nice note from the General Manager.
Our room was lovely, clean, beautifully decorated and had a nice view of the courtyard below. Our stay was magical with over the top service from all the staff! They went above and beyond to make our stay special and comfortable! Our room had a nice view of the courtyard.
The breakfast was wonderful and the service was over the top. We ate breakfast daily and besides the gourmet buffet which had so many beautiful pastries to choose from along with fresh fruit, meats and cheeses we were also offered a made to ordered dish of our choice fresh from the kitchen. It was truly one of the best buffets Ive experienced. We also had lunch during our stay at the restaurant and the steak tartare is wonderful!
This hotel is perfect home base to experience Paris at its best. The surrounding area is extremely safe and very clean! You can literally walk virtually anywhere you need to be in Paris within 15 to 20 minutes from this hotel location. The Louvre, Tuileries Garden, Galeries Lafayette are all very close! We ventured our daily and were able to walk everywhere from this location! Our stay was magical and we thoroughly enjoyed The Park Hyatt Vendome! We will definitely be back again soon! I would give this a 2 star rating if it weren't for the customer service provided. I was super excited to experience the Park Hyatt in Paris. I thought even a basic room would be delightful. I was wrong. The rooms are not sound proof. The windows don't even have have big curtains to block light and sound. The signature decoration style is WEIRD to scary. People compared it to mud skeleton people to Inca mummy sacrifice. The problem is that it's everywhere: every light, wall, door knob. It's too much and so so creepy. And then there were noise issues: hearing full conversations from the people on the street to the ventilation system making crazy high pitched wails at 11pm. Restaurant had the most staff I've seen in a hotel and the service was still super slow. The hotel was super busy. Again, the super professional customer service was appreciated. I shared my disappointment and the hotel was responsive. However, I will not be back. Spend your money elsewhere. This price, for the problems, is not what I want from a Park Hyatt.

Our new favorite hotel in Paris! Excellent service beginning with the pre-check in experience. Edouard was extremely helpful and accommodating. Our Hyatt status provided a room upgrade. Room was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The only puzzling design (flaw?) was a step up shower & bath. Just a little dangerous if you’re older! We had dinner at Pur, their Michelin-star restaurant and it exceeded our expectations from the service, the food tastings, the creativity and the artful presentation! The breakfast buffet was also 5-star quality that went along with their very attentive service! The workout room & spa were also very nice and extremely clean as we witnessed attendants wiping down equipment immediately after guest use. The location was an easy walk to the Tuileries and shopping! We look forward to our next visit!

While contemplating what to do for my late January birthday, I casually said to my wife "let's go to Paris for a long weekend." Talk continued, one thing led to another, and then our long weekend turned into 5 nights at the glorious Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome. This was truly one of the best hotel stays we've ever had in the fabulous and expanding Hyatt luxury hotel portfolio and, really, in any hotel in the world.
Our flight from NY landed early (5:30am!) at CDG. After quickly clearing immigration and customs, we jumped in an Uber and arrived at the Park Hyatt before 7am. While our junior suite (Globalist upgrade!) was not yet ready, we changed clothes in the basement spa, left our bags with the bell desk, ate breakfast at the fab buffet and then began our early morning exploration of Paris, a city we hadn't visited in nearly 15 years. Much to our delight, while strolling through the Jardin du Luxembourg, the hotel called us at 11:15am to say that our room was ready. And that was the beginning of our great stay.
The 5 star Park Hyatt Paris-Vendome is extraordinarily located in the heart of Paris (in the 2nd arrondissement) near the famous Place Vendome which is home to just about every luxury designer store you've ever heard of and many that I had not. While we did do some shopping in the area, the hotel provided a great base for our daily 12 - 15 miles of walking throughout the city to visit museums, opera, cinema and, of course, amazing restaurants and cafes. After logging all those miles, it was such a pleasure to return to the Park Hyatt each evening to find our room completely refreshed before we'd shower and change for dinner. We began a couple of nights with drinks in the lounge which was beautiful and peaceful like the rest of the hotel. After dinner and 3 nights at various jazz clubs, we'd return late to the hotel to find our room again refreshed with nightly turn down service. It was all just exquisite and our 5 night stay flew by way too fast.
We experienced travelers all know that no matter how beautiful and well located a hotel may be, it is nothing without its staff. And the Park Hyatt Paris staff is without equal from the bellhops and valets, to the front desk agents and concierge, to the room attendants and managers, NOBODY passes you without saying a heartfelt "bon jour" or "bon soir." The staff were all wonderful and fulfilled all of our requests. We will definitely return to this incredible hotel, hopefully soon. Merci Park Hyatt Paris!

We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt in Paris using points through the World of Hyatt Program. I was able to book 3 nights and was also able to apply one of my Suite Upgrades. I have been to 14 Park Hyatt hotels around the world and this is clearly in the conversation as one of the best. Everything about the hotel was 5 stars which included the location, staff, food, and room quality. As a globalist we enjoyed a free breakfast which was excellent. It is very clear that the staff has been trained to elevate each guests experience to the highest level. Congratulations to the management who has found a team of employees that understand and deliver a very high level of service. Some research shows that had I not used points the cost of the stay would have been about $8000 US dollars. One must weigh the value proposition of spending that kind of money for a 3 nights stay. The value of the Hyatt points used in conjunction with the suite upgrade cannot be understated.

After another 6-night stay at the Park Hyatt Vendôme, we are again deeply impressed by the passion and warm hospitality of the staff, the skillful performance in all departments we interacted with, the impeccable luxurious property, and the great leadership by a management team that, while maybe too late for the Olympic awards, are nonetheless reaching for the highest honor. We had many special, wonderful interactions with team members of diverse and exciting backgrounds that add to the feeling of home on each of our stays here. The team has upped the game; each of the last few stays has been better than the one before. Once again we have impressive memories of this stay from the culinary creations at the hotel’s food outlets - we loved the creativity, the wholesome tastes, the gorgeous and thoughtful presentations, the healthy options and modifications made for us, and the joyful and classy delivery. Especially the desert choices without added sugar by Chef Narae Kim were an impressive, unique experience. And the desert food cart in front of the hotel is such a great idea - yummy! This impeccably run hotel is in a rarified group of a handful of luxury hotels worldwide that actually deliver an authentic and warm hospitality of the most heartwarming kind. From the amazing housekeeping team that is detail-oriented, observant and responsive to our preferences, to the welcoming and knowledgeable front desk and concierge team, we are in awe of how so many pieces of the puzzle and so many motivated staff can come together and deliver a guest experience that many aspire to and only very few achieve.

My apologies. I do not know, because not all rooms have the same toilette at the property.
I suggest you go to Amazon and search for Toto seat covers.
I have tried helping by attempting to post the link here, but it is against policy.
We had a room with a very small terrace. It was on like the 2nd or 3rd floor, facing the inner courtyard. It was rather small and novel, but pleasant to have non the less. Definitely inquire about it directly with the hotel, to assure you will get the room you want.
