I was so thrilled with Hotel Jules et Jim. The extremely warm and professional welcome extended throughout our stay. It's a solid four star hotel but the hospitality was so perfect it puts many of the five stars I've stayed in to shame. Without exception, the staff are people I'd be grateful and proud to have as houseguests myself. Just... More

For Paris standards this hotel is of good quality but I have to question the value for money. I get the impression that you pay for the hip and cool status of this hotel, and not the luxury or eye for details. The location is excellent, no doubt. But for this price I expect a coffee maker, small fridge and... More

Dear Lise Marie, First of all, thank you for your feedback and review. We are happy that you like the quality, the location of the Jules & Jim hotel and the upgraded room we offered to you. But you expected more and would have appreciated a coffee machine and a fridge in your room. We have preferred to provide a... More

I have not stayed in the hotel however I have had drinks in the bar multiple times. That said, the bar has great charm as it is stylish, pleasant and a hidden gem in Paris. The hotel is itself located in a rapidly developing quartier of Paris that is being a hub of design and artists. Great drinks, music, and... More

We loved our stay over the w-end! The room, the bed and comfort, the interior, the colors, the styling, the breakfast .. all very much exactly like we want it. If only our room was bigger........... For a one night stay it was fine but for more than that we would not have coped. Every member of staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't take advantage of the bar or terrace, Our room had a good shower and a comfortable bed and two tiny, low chairs, but that was about... More

Room was modern, clean and quiet. Boutique hotel with few rooms. Location was close to metro stops, sights, cafes and interesting walking districts. Street and hotel were quiet and safe. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Just spent 3 nights at J&J. A great welcome on arrival by Mat, immediately made us feel at home & looked after . It is in a perfect location - surrounded by trendy small restaurants and art galleries , this north western corner of Le Marais is also one of the oldest parts of Paris . Walk around every corner... Back in Paris after a long time, this time with the kids in tow. I looked around long and hard to find something that didn't entail too many longs walks or rides that would dampen the young ones' enthusiasm. This hotel was perfect for us. Great location, just a few minutes' walk from the Pompidou and le Marais. We only... More

Fabulous boutique hotel in a great area of the city. The owner and his team are incredibly kind, professional and knowledgeable about Paris. Zoe and others at the front desk helped us with dinner reservations, points of interest, and other odds and ends. Very gracious. Regis and his team offer the most amazing cocktails, company and comfortable lounge to unwind... More

Wonderful boutique hotel with very attentive staff! Neighborhood full of cafes and shopping! Breakfast was a nice array of croissants, cheese, fruit yogurt and eggs. The front desk folks were always full of great advice on things to do and places to eat. Would definitely return!

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
