Very nice hotel in the very heart of Paris situated next to Centre Pompidou. Excellent reception and very nice staff at the hotel. Great breakfast. Also close to the restaurant and bar district at Rue St Denis.

The lady at the reception is very friendly, but it would be nicer to explain the fee when we pay while checking out. I emailed them via booking.com but didn't get any respond after 22 hours. The info that they told me about transportation was wrong. I was asking how to get there from Orly airport. They told me "from... More

The Hotel is well located in the Marais District. In a side street directly opposite the Pompidou Centre. 5-10 min walk to either Hotel De Ville Station or Chatelet Les Halles Station (which is located in a Shopping Mall) There are two supermarkets within 100m. The main street shopping area and restaurants is about 400m. The room was ok in... More

Over the years, we have stayed here several times. The hotel never disappoints. You can't beat the location, it is only steps away from the Centre Pompidou. While the streets are busy during the day, it is quiet at night and it does not get busy until about 9am. Also, the windows appear to be soundproof. The area is very... More

Great location, really close to the city centre, just a very short walk from the Georges Pompidou center. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great. Rooms were clean and very quiet. Would definitely go again.

Seven nights in Paris staying at the Hotel Beaubourg. Excellent location on a quiet street on the edge of the Marais, close to many sights, the metro, restaurants and clubs. Lovely, comfortable rooms, sizable by Paris standards and reasonably priced. Ample and appetizing continental breakfast. Welcoming 24 hour staff. Particular thanks to Monsieur Kais. All in all I don't think... More

Obviously, location but my description is "clean, efficient, attractive and courteous". Got the breakfast (we _paid_ for it so my wife HAD to get up) and felt it was a very fair hotel breakfast in quality and selection. I have the impression that by Parisian standards our room was quite decently sized and that should appeal to Americans. Only about... More

We spend three wonderful nights in this nice hotel. Situated near Rue Rambuteau and the Marais district, it is a great location to walk and catch buses and the metro to explore Paris. The restaurants, up scale shopping, and night life are marvelous.

For the second year in a row we stayed at the Hotel Beaubourg, this time in their Junior Suite -- room 4. It's still small by American standards, but is quiet, clean, and has its own private courtyard. The staff here is helpful and friendly, and the location (near the Pompidou) can't be beat. Wish we could manage to be... More

Travelled on business and stayed there for 2 nights. Negatives: Unfortunately pictures show much better quality then the reality. I'm a positive person and rarely get disappointing experience. Unfortunately on this occasion that wasn't the case. Location far less than attractive, smelly and dingy streets around, nearest parking location was absolutely stink. Hotel itself tiny, 1 lift barely copes with... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
