Bad service. Bad manners. Unresponsive. Dirty room. Small and cramped. Internet poor reception with a virus malware. Renovations and repairs conducted during the day. Enter at own peril. Never again. Sorry but this hotel wins the worst hotel award for us.

Five of us, two adults and three children stayed in two small rooms separated by a bathroom. The room was clean with lovely fresh bedding and towels and there was an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower from the window. The receptionists were friendly and helpful, regarding buses and sightseeing. All the staff were smiling and kind. The hotel is so close to the Gare Du Nord station which made it incredibly easy to bring our luggage from the Eurostar. It's so central we could walk to many places of interest including Pigalle and the Sacre Coeur. The price was so cheap - such good value if you're doing Paris on a budget. We didn't try the breakfast as the hotel is surrounded by tempting patisseries and cafes. All in all a wonderful stay.

Rating I booked a room for three people to share. The room was on the 5th floor and the elevator would not take three people with hand luggage so two trips had to be done. When we got to our room, the third bed that was put out was smaller than a standard single but the BIGGEST problem was a huge area of damp that covered the bathroom ceiling. The cupboard door under the sink was held on by tape. The damp patch was leaking. The following day they changed our rooms. No apology or discount. Hit and miss as to weather the staff speak English. The room they changed us to was right on reception so you could hear everything that was said in reception and, really annoyingly, the bus stop outside the window. You got the noise of traffic, busses, people spitting. When we checked out they tried charging us another £150 until we successfully argued otherwise.

Well where to begin. When we arrived at the hotel, it was almost unrecognisable as to the pictures that was online. The reception area is nothing like the pictures online, and I mean nothing at all! It’s like they grabbed a picture off google images, and blagged it was there reception area. Anyway carrying on. Amongst arrival during checking in, they had no idea they was expecting us and looked so confused. They told us our room would not be ready until later on, which is the normal. So they dumped our suitcases behind thrown out mattresses and dirty sheets in the reception area. When the room was ready, we began to make our way up crossing both hands and toes it wasn’t going to be a dump. Well, that did no hope the room was absolutely shocking. The room was dirty, sheets unclean and bathroom well that’s another story. I went down to the reception, and spoke to them politely about the room. I said it was nothing like the pictures online, and it’s dirty. The women rudely looked at me and shrugged her shoulders saying, ‘Because the pictures online are old pictures’. Cut a long story short, me and my boyfriend then moved to a different room. This room was just as bad. We then finally moved to a liveable room to say the least. During our stay, we found little bugs crawling around the room. The hotel advertised that there is a flat screen tv in the room, when realistically it’s a tele the size of mini iPad shoved at the top corner of the room. The balcony is so unsafe as well as dirty. If you are looking at booking this hotel, DO NOT make the same mistake as us! There are much cleaner, nicer hotels at the same price maybe lower. I don’t think this hotel has seen a duster or a Hoover for over a decade. The area the hotel is in, is in a fab location close to a lot of attractions! Just do not book this hotel, it’s nothing like the pictures!

Absolute dump. Rooms looked nothing like on the pictures ,rooms stunk ,tiny rooms with bugs in,bedsheets dirty, staff rude, bedrooms only serviced in request, lift looks like it’s going to break any minute, they chose to start work on the bedroom next door to us at 7 In the morning using heavy machinery about 3 feet away from the door. Didn’t even bother going to see what the breakfast room was like so I can’t review that, but if it’s anything like the rest of the hotel I can probably say it’s dirty smelly and unfit for humans. Don’t bring children here as balcony’s are lethal with no real safety railings just a straight drop to the noisy road below(although I contemplated jumping from this balcony on the first night we arrived after seeing the living conditions)I can’t force enough that you should not stay at this hotel. dump, wouldn’t take the dog here .
