We stayed at this hotel in October 2014. We had two double rooms which were immaculate. The hotel decor is quirky and perfect for what you would expect from a boutique hotel in Paris. During our stay it was my friends birthday and we were upgraded to a room with a balcony on the top floor. This was a lovely touch and we had a great time sitting on the balcony, drinking coffee and watching out onto the busy streets of Paris. The location is great - close to the centre of Monmartre and a short walk away from the Moulin Rouge. There are a number of bus routes available from the hotel and it is also close to Blanche metro station. We had a lovely time during out 4 night stay and we would absolutely return when next in Paris.
Stayed 2 nights over New Years. Staff very helpful, particularly Souhail who we dealt with most of our short stay - booking of taxis (including airport for a reasonable price), reception clerk more than happy to run suitcases up the road to meet the taxi. Also helped with trying to reserve restaurant tables last minute which wasn't easy. Room was small but fine (to be expected). Great location - close to Montmartre and a stone's throw from Moulin Rouge. 50 odd minute walk from the Louvre. Would recommend
We traveled to the hotel with a couple friends and family members. The concierge was extremely helpful and friendly. I was comfortable asking questions and for directions from the concierge, and they even booked tickets to Disneyland Paris for us. The hotel is unique and really nice. My room was not large, but had everything I needed, and was very nicely decorated. I really enjoyed my stay, and the people I traveled with did as well. I thought the price was very good!. The hotel was walking distance to the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. The underground was not far away either! I would definitely visit again!
It's a small but atmospheric boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Within few minutes walk from Moulin Rouge and ~20 minutes walking distance to Monmartre. I stayed 2 nights there at standard room, it's pretty small but all good for one person. Clean, comfortable bed. Unlimited coffee/tea and cookies at the lobby was a nice bonus.
Gorgeous Boutique hotel for our first visit to Pairs. Doing a lot of research before our trip, we found that the majority of hotels of a similar price were far from the city centre and we thought it might’ve been too good to be true that we discovered this Gem last minute! Very easy commute by walking to Montmartre, Moulin Rouge and Galeries Lafayette - all within 15 minutes. Similarly, Blanche metro station was a 2 minute walk with straight forward and quick commute to Champs Elysée and the Eiffel Tower. Although the surrounding area was enough to be explored - with patisseries and quirky restaurants. We highly recommend Pink Mamma’s Italian for lunch, just across the road! Upon arrival concierge staff were friendly and enthusiastic to help, there was also free coffee and snacks in the reception area. We really loved waking up here and really didn’t want to leave on our last day. In our true style, we got to the Airport to catch our flight and realised that we had left something of sentiment in our room. Oleg was super helpful in returning the item to us and we cannot thank him enough! Our heart is at the Hotel R. Kipling in Paris. Thank you! …
