Stayed a few nights for my honeymoon. Peaceful, great service, and close to lots of attractions. Would recommend for those looking for a quite place that is close to lots of major areas. Also very near the metro.
This is a great place to stay in Paris. The atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and the staff are helpful (thank you to Alice!). While our room was small (remember, it’s Paris) the space and storage was well used. We travel with hand luggage and backpacks. Luggage could be stored under the bed. We had a lovely and bright view of the street. When we closed the windows and curtains it was dark and quiet. The hotel was clean and beds were comfy. Around the hotel there are many cafes and restaurants, bus and metro stops, pharmacy, grocery store and laundry: very convenient. Coffee and water (still and sparkling) is available in the lobby. We like to walk so didn’t mind being less central and we did make use of the metro to get to the left bank and the train station. If you like being in the heart of major attractions though, this might not be the place for you. Other guests mentioned A/C and water. It took a bit of figuring but we did get the a/c to a comfortable temperature but it’s not the same as central a/c you might have in other places. We actually preferred having the window open for the cool morning and evening breeze. The warm water did take some time but we found if we put the faucet on both the shower and tap to max for about 2 minutes the hot water came up and we could adjust it from there. There is a small lift and stairs. Overall I think this is a great place to stay in Paris if you prefer a quieter neighbourhood and local atmosphere.…
Loved our stay here. Though have to admit pulling up outside I thought we may not. Not the most inviting looking place from the outside. If you want a base to experience Paris then you’ll love it here. We like to walk so didn’t need to use public transport. We paid extra for the superior room which was a small room but all we needed. Tall windows opened up to view the beautiful vibrant busy streets of Paris. Once closed you couldn’t hear a thing & both had a good nights sleep in very clean comfy bed. Air con was appreciated amidst the heat wave. Room service every day with clean towels coffee/milk. No English tea! Lots of good shops bars & restaurants nearby. Moulin rouge just up the road. Ideal if like us had 11pm show. Staff were very friendly, helpful & English speaking. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.…
The hotel is very neat with a nice boutique ambience. Many cafes are nearby and the neighborhood is nice while also a few steps from Moulin Rouge. Super convenient! I would like to especially mention the amazing hospitality given by Nader. The hotel staff all of them are super nice and friendly. Most of my interaction was with Nader and he went above and beyond to help us when needed! Superb service, thank you!
Our experience at this hotel wasn’t great, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here in summer. The air con in our room was faulty (when it was 40 degrees outside!) and after several trips down to reception we were offered a different room. However, the air con in the second room was inadequate too - couldn’t change the temperature and it kept switching off. This made our stay quite uncomfortable. We also expected both hotel rooms to be cleaner. Bathrooms, bedding etc were fine, but the rooms were dusty in some places and not the standard we expected. We wouldn’t stay here again, but this hotel is in a really convenient location to explore the whole of Paris and just a 15 min walk from the Sacre Coeur.
After doing some research it was the price and style of this hotel chain that appeared appealing. Also the fact that it wasn’t too far from Gare du nord / Eurostar train… We arrived slightly earlier than the check-in time but the room was ready and the lovely lady on the front desk allowed us to go up and leave our bags before we left the hotel to visit the Louvre Museum a 30 minute walk away. Although the room was slightly compact also situated on the fourth floor which wasn’t really a problem, It suited our needs for a short break. We had the breakfast buffet the following morning which was nicely laid out in the basement of the Hotel, great decor in a old cellar. Anything we needed or asked they were helpful on reception, we would definitely recommend the hotel and area, lots of local bars and restaurants….. & the friendly staff… A special thank you to Lucia, djanali & souhaif…
We have been to Paris numerous times. I even think it is our 26th time now. We have slept in many different hotels throughout Paris. From very cheap to very expensive. This hotel simply is one of our favorites. First: The beds are big. Something you don't see very often in hotels in Paris and the matrasses are very good. The bathroom was tidy and the shower had an excellent water pressure. Often the pressure is very low or it is too cold. The rooms are cleaned every single day. The location is also excellent if you like the Montmatre area and Rue des Abesses. And on top of it...free, very tastefull coffee in the cosy lounge. We absolutely will return. Keep track of the room price, since it changes a lot. Starting from 65 Euro up to 100 or more.
One of the most pleasurable experiences of our Paris trips. The hotel was fabulous, the room was comfortable, and the staff was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel, Sohail makes it exceptional. Thank you again for always being there with such hospitality which undoubtedly facilitated our stay in Paris. We will be back very soon.
The room was tiny and the shower water pressure was very weak. Further, the toilet only partially flushed (big button did not work) bathroom floor was flooded after each shower, and the ventilation did not work in the bathroom.
Very friendly staff, the hotel is located very central and just 5 minutes walk from Montmartre and all its restaurants. A carrefour supermarket is just right next to the hotel as well. The bathroom was nice and most importantly, everything was clean.
