Quiet street, historical building with charm, good value for the money, hot shower, close to the action. What else do you want? The staff was very congenial and helpful, particularly Henri, who helped track down a bag that Air France had lost. The elevator is the size of a child's coffin but so what? I can fit with my luggage...

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Paris. Hotel is clean, quiet and has a real Parisian feel to it. Rooms are small but perfect for 1 or 2 people, the hotel staff are accomodating and warm. I would recommend staying here to all. :)

Friendly staff and nice breakfast in small dining room. Good free internet service in room. Suggest you contact Hotel direct ( talk with Henri) for any special room offers or upgrades they may have. Plenty of restaurants nearby as well as Museum Cluny and of course Carherdral Notre Dame, which is spectacular. Train station close by to airport. Buy a...

My husband and I spent a week in this charming small hotel, a stone throw from Notre Dame and the Seine river. It is a building rich in ancient and modern history (many key figures of the beat generation stayed there when it was a lot cheaper). Rooms are elegantly decorated and display ancient wooden framing. They equipped with amenities...

Small boutique hotel in downtown Paris. Located in a very central neighborhood, the environment is cozy and simple. All very well taken care of, clean and boutique style. Walking distance of highly rated restaurants. Room is not big, but that was expected, but beautifully decorated in baroque style. Really enjoyed for a day, as I only use hotel for sleep...

The rooms are small but again your in the middle of Paris, the beds are so comfortable, the rooms are slightly dated but the buildings old so it didn't really matter. I would if you are staying take your...

This was the second time we chose this charming hotel to stay in whilst in Paris. Everything about the hotel is personal and friendly. The room was well appointed, light, airy and styled in the chic Parisian way. Henri on the front desk is charming, incredibly helpful and speaks several languages beautifully. The location is just about perfect if you...

Our first two nights we upgraded to a slightly larger room, actually much larger and it had a tub which was so welcome. After we returned to Paris we stayed in standard and it was too small to be comfortable, also the bed was terrible in the standard room. The managers, Henri and Alan are very accommodating and can do...

This hotel is always our headquarters when we visit Paris. The desk staff is extremely helpful -- especially for advice on museums, concerts, and restaurants. We got front row seats at an excellent church concert (classical concert at the Sainte-Chapelle). As always, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are great. We will be back again soon.

We have stayed in this hotel multiple times and love the ambiance and the friendliness of the staff. This historical "beat hotel" is on the left bank of Paris near Notre Dame and within walking distance of the Louve, Musee D'Orsay, the Luxembourg Gardens, and many other sites you will want to visit. There are a number of restaurants and...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
