The Hotel Maison Athénée is a fabulous 4-star boutique hotel, in a superb quiet location. It is beautifully appointed and the staff take great care of their guests’ arrangements. I stayed in Room 103 and greatly enjoyed taking breakfast in its private courtyard. The room is typically Paris-snug but had every facility I needed, including a great shower and lavish furnishings. The hotel is within a comfortable walking distance of the main attractions and has a great authentic French restaurant next door — Les Bacchantes. Thanking Thibaut and Amélie for their kind help with all my Paris arrangements. I enjoyed my time at this hotel and would love to return.
Small property with 20 rooms makes your receiving a specialized experience a reality. Greeting us personally, storing our luggage until room was ready, recommendations for local restaurants and gracious communications enhanced our stay. Bar area is small and intimate. Rooms and bathroom are small but location is everything and walking to the many popular sites of Paris is easy. Bathroom has very good shower, nice television, windows open and beds are so soft it’s like being sandwiched between two marshmallows.
Excellent staff, very friendly. The hotel has a great location, close to the Vendome - one of the nicest locations in Paris! The room was charming, great shower head, nice shampoos. The staff handled my shipping needs. Many restaurants in the area. Highly recommend! - Suzanne
Very good small hotel. Great service but still feels private. Great location near the Opera. There is a supermarket on the same block which is very convenient. Nice rooms for small hotel and Well decorated. I would definitely return on my next trip.
Paris was our first stop on a three week vacation and Paris is one of our favorite cities. Walking in to this hotel we knew we had made a perfect choice. The staff was wonderul and our room was small but, clean and updated with wonderful features. Comfortable bed and beautiful shower. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning and Sarah who worked there was great and so much help. This is a perfect hotel we will be coming back for sure! Thank you to all the staff you go that extra step to help your guests.
What a lovely boutique hotel. From the moment we entered we felt transported to a different place. The interior is rich and sumptuous. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a short stay in the beautiful city that is Paris. Really Good ventral location and in easy walking distance of the main tourist attractions. Lovely restaurants near by. Breakfast was lovely and just right. Would love to come back and visit again. Thank you for making our trip a success
Nestled in a little street between Madeleine, opera and Boulevard Haussman where the best department stores are located, Maison Athenee is extremely well located for those who want to explore Paris. But far to be just an hotel where you put your baggage and escape to do shopping and sightseeing, Maison Athenee has far more to offer to make of a stay in this exquisite hotel, a true experience. At first, we already loved the entrance, discreet, elegant before to get in into a small intimate lobby where you discover the talent of the world acclaimed designer Jacques Garcia. It's rich, opulent with red velvet and gold giving a certain feeling to be in a theater. Some wouldn't like and to be frank I.wouldnt pick this design for my own place but we immediately felt under this indescribable charm. On top of it, the local play was the best you can imagine. We've been very warmly welcomed by a young man, very polite, attentive and with a generous and true smile. Being French, I can regretfully say it's not always the case but at Maison Athenee, you can be sure to be wonderfully pampered by a team full of kindness having as the only goal to make guests happy to stay in such a lovely place. We had the nice surprise to have an upgrade from Standard to Superior room which was a truly appreciated gesture. We took the very tiny lift (not recommendable for claustrophobic people like me) to go to the fifth floor and discovered our room #501. This attic room was truly seducing and warm thanks again to the talent of the designer. Despite being a pretty small place, we had the feeling to be in a mini suite. We definitely loved this cocoon perfectly neat and perfectly equipped. We just regret not to find any coffee machine or water boiler but obviously you can give a call to the reception to have a coffee or a tea. Room was very pretty and quite luxurious on a way with very French printed fabric wall paper, a lovely desk with a nice written welcome message from the GM and a couple of complimentary mineral waters. Bathroom with separate toilet and rain shower was just perfect with excellent Hermes amenities and fluffy bathrobes and towels. Even the lighting, which is a topic that some guests are complaining, was perfect for us. Sincerely, and we've been in many ultra luxurious or prestigious hotels so we have high standards, we can just hardly recommend Maison Athenee which is so pretty, so comfortable and so warm. We just regretted not to have more time to enjoy a glass of champagne in the beautiful bar but we kind of randomly picked this hotel because we had a dinner in Paris and needed to be close to Roissy bus station for early departure so we had no real expectations and especially considering the super affordable price... which is even pretty cheap considering the location, the quality and the standard of this charming place. We would have loved to have more time to enjoy more but we will come back for sure. In the morning time, since I had to leave before 7am, I didn't even have time to take breakfast but my husband told me it was a delicious experience with best quality products and again a very kind service. So yes, despite of a few details we want to give 5 points and especially if we consider the incredible value. We just want to make of Maison Athenee, our residence when in Paris... divine.…
The staff is amazing. The service is superb. The beds are ridiculously comfortable. Most amazing experience we had in all of Europe. We will DEFINITELY be returning on our next visit to Paris. The location is great. The neighborhood has everything you need and it’s close to the metro, which will take you anywhere you need to go. Highly recommend staying here.
Superb position in the heart of Paris, easy to walk to all the best places to see, and access to metro, bars theatres are all close buy, restaurants also. Rooms are discreet but beautiful service perfect, a must, try the breakfast, the croissants are out of this world
We spent a great time at this hotel to enjoy our honeymoon. Cozy atmosphere and unique style. Special thanks to Maxime Binard, who did a fantastic job and made this vacation an extraordinary one! We´d love to come back.
