Noisy street, terrible blinds, tiny bed (hubby's feet were off the end!), teeeeeny bathroom, and felt the security feeling was low/ risky. Staff were lovely enough, but facilities were lacking. We wouldn't go back... but we recommend the next hotel we jumped across to!More

Hotel Central Saint Germain is one of our 'go to' hotels in Paris - on the Left Bank. Average priced for what it provides but excellently and conveniently located. Friendly reception and staff. Rooms are small, but that is Paris.More

The Hotel doesn't have a bar but if you exit and turn left within a short distance is Place de la Sorbonne where are there are several good bars and restaurants. It's a lovely sheltered square in front of the University.

You can catch the RER B train from Gare du Nord, and take it to Saint-Michel - Notre Dame. From there it's about a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel.
