Over the years I have stayed in many hotels in the area. For the money this is my favourite. Fantastic location, good rooms, efficient, friendly service, and probably the best reception staff that we have had in Paris !

We wanted a truly Parisian experience for our Anniversary and succeeded. The small, thirty room Hotel is strategically located on the Left Bank, Saint Germain District, with exceptionally huge rooms compared to the usual European oversized closets. The rooms were modern in utilities and quaint in furnishings, Audrey and Tristan manned the front desk and were our guides and mentors... More

We only had 3 nights in Paris and Hotel de Seine was in the perfect location to explore the city. Although quite small we had plenty of room. It has a lounge and breakfast room downstairs to retreat from the chaos. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again

This trendy little gem is in a perfect location. You can pretty much walk anywhere, along with restaurants and shops in every direction. Definitely in a hip part of town. The rooms are small, but it's what you would expect travelling Europe. However how much time do you spend in your room?!

It was nice to stay in a Parisian hotel, not a chain. Many restaurants and bakeries close by. 15-20 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Louvre across the Seine. Nice to walk and see the city instead of taking the metro.

The hotel is only 3-4 minutes walk to the Metro station, about 5-10 walk to The Seine, and surrounded by restaurants. Very nice hotel in the 6th arr. which has a really perfect location--close top many left and right bank sites. Adjacent to the wonderful Buci market. Lots of terrific restaurants in the neighborhood. Staff was very accommodating. Room was fine, if a bit small, and the Wifi was a bit erratic.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
