It's in the best of locations for a great fun time. Location is everything and here is great. Plenty of jazz clubs just down the road. Lots of art and fine restaurants in the area.. It's very close to the action and is great for late breakfasts and a friendly smile no matter how late back.

Best Hotel in Paris for a weekend away break. Location, staff and rooms were fab. All around the hotel were great cafes, great bars and fantastic restaurants. Metro is only minutes away as is the Notre Dame Cathedral which has to be seen to be believed. This hotel made our 3 days in Paris.

We visited this charming tiny hotel many times years ago. Great improvements, the lift now reaches the ground floor. The staff were always willing to oblige and still are, and English is understood . The rooms are fascinatingly compact with everything incorporated into a tiny space all traditionally decorated and with a modern ensuite. A fine example of how to do...

We are pleased to recommend this hotel. Location is superb. Walking distance to just about all the major things you want to see in Paris. The hotel will arrange a car pick up if you wish. For us, it was a welcome sight coming in to Paris in the very early morning after an overnight flight.

Dear Madam, Thank you for taking time to share your opinion on tripadvisor and for your compliments about the staff and the aera :) Concerning the construction next door the hotel, we are sorry but it is not our fault, it is the fault of the building next door. We stayed at Le Regent hotel for two nights in October. We found it comfortable and a little more roomy (not too roomy) than some of the others. I would recommend a superior room if you are a couple and staying more than one night. The beds were a little firmer, larger and the room a little bigger. It is...

I stayed there twice for a very low price, the location was perfect and the service excellent. I recommend it to anyone who is traveling to paris. The fact that its right infront of the metro station "Anvers" its the best.

This is a very clean, well-run hotel in a busy area 2 blocks from the Seine. Right next door are 4 large cafe's where it is fun to eat outside and people-watch. We had been to the hotel 2 years before with a group and were welcomed back warmly. Were in room 32, up three flights. I often walked up,...

I'd rather leave a comment in English. Don't look further: you want to be in the greatest area of Paris in the best place, well there. It is a 3 stars hotel; I'd give it 4. The hotel itself is a beautiful place. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The rooms, everything: perfect. I'm a Parisian but for some...

Quintessential boutique hotel in Paris! Tiny yet beautifully decorated, this might be the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but it didn't matter because we were barely in it. The hotel is perfectly located in St. Germain and was only a short walk to the Seine, Louvre, and Notre Dame. St. Germain has tons of art galleries, restaurants, shopping...

Dear guest, First of all we thank you for choosing our hotel and also for taking time to share your opinion on Tripadvisor. We are pleased that you like Le Regent even if "Standard" rooms are small. Indeed, rooms are small in the area of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, but we have bigger rooms in "Deluxe" and "Superior" categories. Hope to see you...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
