First off, some of these negative reviews must be from folks expecting George V on a Holiday Inn budget. As Paris 3-star hotels go, La Perle is exceptional. Nice and friendly staff, cute bar, free internet station and outdoor patio in a can't be beat...More
My daughter and I enjoyed our 6 night stay at this delightful hotel. All the staff was welcoming and extremely friendly and helpful. We had a large room, on the street side, but unlike some of the other reviewers, the double windows prevented any street...More
We stayed at the Hotel La Perle for 3 nights in May. The location is EXCELLENT! About a 5-min walk to the nearest train station, plus very close to St. Sulpice as a landmark (if you get lost!). There are TONS of little cafes and...More
This hotel served its purpose....giving us a place to stay. The rooms were tiny and my bathroom had cracked tile by the toilet and the shower. It is, however very clean. The breakfast is basic, but good...croissants, cold cuts, cereal and fruit. The staff is...More
I recently stayed at this hotel for 6 days, on a solo trip. I found the hotel to be in a perfect location, easy walk to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Musee D'Orsay, Luxembourg Gardens and many other sites....The staff was great, and the room was...More
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

The duplex is entered from the garden courtyard attached to the breakfast area. There is absolutely no issues with security with any part of the hotel. The courtyard is only used for breakfast. It is a quite oasis during the day and evening. Can't answer about the windows or two stories. The street outside is relatively narrow with little traffic and very little noise through the night. I would recommend this hotel.
