I discovered this hotel while booking a last minute, 36 hours trip to Paris. After visiting Paris several times, we definitely prefer to stay in the St. Germain des Pres as that neighborhood speaks to us with it's restaurant culture, walkability, location to our favorite sites, and amazing shopping. Because our trip was so last minute and the neighborhood was... More

Loved the room size (executive), condition and location of the hotel, in a small street filled with small pubs and restaurants, and very close to the metro station, they also had good cab service, all in all I can say its a place I can visit again .

We spent New Year in Paris staying at this lovely, small but spacious hotel in the 6th arrondissement. A wonderful welcome from Lydia awaits you when you arrive along with a very comfortable and chic bedroom. All the staff are extremely professional and friendly always very accommodating and willing to assist. Full continental breakfast is served in the inner courtyard... More

We stayed here for 5 days in April and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very charming with an excellent location. The front desk staff were superb. I wish I could remember their names, but there were two men in particular that were so helpful in recommending restaurants, providing directions, and calling taxis. There are many excellent restaurants within... More

Stayed there three nights. Very nice old but recently renovated hotel. Public parking 100m from the hotel available. Breakfast served in an winter garden type setting, should be beautiful in summer. Room was very quite and comfortable. Location ideal as many attractions can be reached in walking distance. Also two subway lines in less than 10 minutes walking distance. Plenty... More

A charming small hotel in the pleasant and lively St Germain area. It's on a tiny side street - give the cab the street address; some don't know its location. (It helps if you say it's near St Sulpice.) Rooms are modest in size, simply but tastefully furnished. Bathrooms feature modern facilities (not always the case in Paris). The front... More

Beautiful little hotel tucked away in a stereotypical quaint Parisian side street. Premium rooms are well-furnished, decent-sized for Paris and if you're lucky enough to get one overlooking the courtyard, peaceful. Breakfast served in conservatory style dining room overlooking quiet courtyard. Standards have, however slipped. Entered my room to find a piece of toast on the floor, presumably from the... More

Special thanks to Lydia and Teddy for welcoming us to this wonderful boutique hotel. Ideally situated for Saint Germaine, Notre Darme and oodles of other great locations in beautiful Paris! The room was very good with a beautiful, spacious bathroom in European standards. Our room overlooked the street so was very noisy at night with the late night patrons but... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
