We loved every aspect of our one week stay at Hotel La Perle. Perfect location for the best of Paris and off the tourist trail enough to know you are mixing with the locals.

Our room was small but nicely furnished and the bathroom was a decent size. The location is great with small restaurants nearby and lots of shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'll definitely go back.
From the courteous staff who were charming and helpful at all stages to the quality rooms (ask for one overlooking the courtyard) this is a fantastic little hotel.

Hotel La Perle is a lovely hotel near St Sulpice.on rue des Canettes. The rooms are clean and well kept. We had a quiet room on the inner courtyard toward the rear of the building. There are many places to find very good meals nearby....More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

The duplex is entered from the garden courtyard attached to the breakfast area. There is absolutely no issues with security with any part of the hotel. The courtyard is only used for breakfast. It is a quite oasis during the day and evening. Can't answer about the windows or two stories. The street outside is relatively narrow with little traffic and very little noise through the night. I would recommend this hotel.
