"The quietude of a Parisian mansion with a strategic emplacement" The Hotel d’Orsay is in the middle of a triangle linking the Seine to the Assemblee Nationale and the Musee d’Orsay. The hotel’s beautiful, simple facade has four niches containing elegant statues that reflect Paris’ history both artistically and politically. Napoleon I’s surgeon lived here before the building became a hotel attracting travelers from around the world, close to the railway station that opened for the 1900 Universal Exhibition. Then the station became a museum, but the hotel is still welcoming visitors from all over the world, together with the many politicians, senators and elected representatives who frequent the Saint-Germain-des-Pres quarter. In the hotel, you will find a lovely vegetated patio, a spacious lobby lovely furnished, warmly decorated rooms with antique art collection which also makes room for pieces of contemporary art. Together, they offer refinement, comfort, and serenity. Within the Hotel d’Orsay, some paintings, most of them are portraits, were made by artists exhibited at the Orsay Museum. Located in the quiet heart of Paris, close to the Seine and its riverbanks, from the magnificent Tuileries garden, the Louvre Museum, the Hotel d’Orsay opens his doors towards the Art, gardens and business.

Conveniently situated some of the most interesting parts of Paris and right by the Musée d’Orsay, this is a quiet, discrete hotel staffed by a delightful, helpful team. Our room was large by Paris standards and both it and the bathroom were well equipped and very comfortable.

I came across this hotel while walking through Paris on a previous trip. It's got a very understated front door in a really nice part of town. Close to great cafes and restaurants, the Seine and a foot bridge to the Rive Droit - directly into the Tuileries. It's a beautiful, quiet hotel, with excellent staff and no pretension, and (importantly) seems to draw patrons who are looking for those qualities.

We stayed 10 nights in a superior room which was definitely comfortable and quiet. The location and ambiance are excellent, next to the Musee d’Orsay and a bit more quiet than some other areas on the left bank. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We will come again for sure!

This was an upgrade for us in Paris. Historically, we've had rooms that were "cozy", that is to say quite small. We decided to splurge a little at Hotel D'Orsay and it was worth every Euro. The room was spacious, clean, and very well-appointed. We had a courtyard view w/2 windows that made the room bright and airy. We learned that our room, #11 was the favorite of Vajira, who works afternoons at the front desk. Chatting with Vajira also sums up the D'Orsay...awesome! The rest of the staff were also delightful & helpful. The hotel is also close to Metro stations and a few restaurants, and is on a quiet street. The honor bar in the lobby is also a nice touch. Pre-arrival communication from the hotel was also appreciated. This will be our first choice for future visits to Paris.

The Hotle D'orsay was a wonderful hotel and we wished we could have stayed longer. The room was very spacious, clean and had everything that we would need for the stay. The reception staff were so friendly and accommodating. I loved the honestly bar and the coffee area in the front lobby. The location was perfect and we walked to everything we want to see. So appreciative that they had umbrellas to use. The room we had was in a neat location in the hotel and the elevator did not go all the way up and there was a staircase we still had to take our luggage up. This was fine for us but others may want to check where their room is in the hotel if they have mobility challenges. We would definitely stay here again.

My son and I just returned from a wonderful visit to Paris and a delightful stay at the Hotel D'Orsay. Roxane and her team at the hotel were personable and most accommodating in meeting any and all requests. Suggestions for local dining were easily on hand and never disappointing. The location was central to our planned excursions. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Hotel D'Orsay will figure in our future plans for Paris.

A comfortable room with plenty of space which is unusual non Paris. But the breakfast was badly run. At 8.30 they had run out of fresh cut fruit, we had to ask Senegal times for bread and the breakfast tea was not good. Expensive, avoid!

For me, this lovely boutique hotel is in the perfect location. It is unusually quiet for being in such a big, bustling city as Paris. It's just off the beaten path, but not too far from it. There is a small Carrefour two blocks away for any snacks you might need, and a great Bistro (shout out to Vin de Bellchasse!) as well as some other good restaurants, near by. Being so close to the river and the Tuilleries is a dream. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming, they have great bathrooms with bath tubs in some rooms - just very clean, comfortable and stylish without being fussy. Highly, highly recommended and I can't wait to return!!

This will be my go-to hotel whenever I am in Paris. I chose it for this trip because it is near the river, the Louvre, and the Musee d'Orsay, and the Tuileries, and within walking distance of many other sites. I'll go back because of the comfort, quiet location, friendly and helpful staff, and the good restaurants nearby.
