great location, nice and clean, aircond., small room but comfortable, friendly staff. but... pricy. We stayed 2 nights and liked it especially due to its location. you can walk from the hotel to all sites. We may return here.

This hotel was recommended by a colleague and didn't disappoint. Only stayed for one night. Smallish room but clean and comfortable. Decor is stylish and unique. Staff are very courteous and professional. Unfortunately, there was construction work being carried out which was noisy from 7:30 am. I will be staying here again.

First time at Hotel Duo, I was very well surprised in a positive way. Very friendly staff, helpfull etc. Typical (small ;-) parisian rooms with nice decoration. After a small incident in my first room, I got another at once without any problems. The hotel has a big advantage: It is located at 2 feet from BHV.Store. The Hotel has...

I had a stay at hotel Duo for two nights. Location was unbeatable, comfortable beds, good breakfast but what made my stay superb was the really friendly and helpful staff, especially Fred. They actually helped me with different requirements and made my stay in Paris wonderful. Hope to come back!!

I rarely write a review but need to it this time. I have been staying in this hotel the last 8 years mostly for business and pleasure. Very stylish and clean, good location and most importantly amazing staff. The hospitality is as good as the Ritz & Four Seasons. Particularly Agnes and Stephane who are mostly accomodating and caring to...

I found this hotel by chance upon losing my reservation at another accommodation and was well impressed. It is situated at the heart of lower Marais area, next to the BHV which is excellent for those who love Marais. It is a very small hotel with "smallish" rooms but then again for Marais and Paris hotels the room may considered...

A wonderful stay in Le Marais in the old parts of Paris. The hotel is small and familiar. We stayed 2 grownups and 2 teenagers in a family room. It was perfect! The breakfast included wasn't the biggest but we didn't miss anything. The hotel is very close to both Louvren and Notre Dame. We warmly recommend this for a...

Dear Marie S, Thank you for your fantastic review and for recommending us. We are glad that you enjoyed the discreet boutique ambiance of Hotel Duo. The designer Jean-Philippe-Nuel created fusion of contemporary art and historical legacy of building, by keeping the original beams, staircase and balcony decorations. Hotel Duo has a total of 58 rooms of different types from...

I've been three times, first time was after a disastrous half night stay in a "boutique" hotel, a room in Duo saved my weekend, and always more than happy to return, I've celebrated a birthday with friends and stayed with my teenager, good for every occasion. Helpful and kind Staff, plentiful and flexible breakfast options and tip top clean rooms,...

Just came back from Paris after staying at the Duo hotel for 4 nights. The location is amazing - in the Marais center, area full of restaurants, shops and cafes. The room was pretty small (but not too small), clean and quiet (even though it was on the 1st floor facing the street). And the best thing - the staff...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
