First time in Paris. The hotel in close to St. Georges train station m12 line. Very convenient. Breakfast was very good. We booked 2 twin beds which was 2 single sized beds put together. The bathroom is quite tiny, i often bump into the shower screen. The additional plus for me was the open snack bar deal with several hotels... More

George Opera Hotel Conveniently located literally two Manhattan blocks from the St. George Metro Station (M12 line). We were able to visit all the main attractions in Paris within 20 minutes by Metro. There are lots of good restaurants outside of tourist trap within walking distance from the hotel. We had three memorable Parisian dinner at the local restaurants within... More

I had booked this hotel for a night stay in paris during the two days visit. I must say it is a very nice hotel close to saint george metro. Being near to metro station all places in paris can be explored using metro pass. I did the same without any issues. Now coming to the room size of course... More

This was our first visit to Paris and all was perfect- in clouding the hotel. Clean, neat, cheery and with kind staff. They were fine with my rusty French and always helpful with suggestions where we could explore. The room was small by US standards- but very comfortable, nice clean bed, hot shower, safe, and close to attractions/ couldn't ask... More

My wife and I spent four nights here for our 10th anniversary and really enjoyed the stay. Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. Tasty breakfast, and snacks and coffee in the afternoons at all Astor hotels. Close to a bunch of sidewalk cafes and two blocks from a metro stop.

This hotel is located in Montmartre. It's close to Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur. For three people, in high tourist season, it's about 145 euros per night, with fast wifi (it's rare that wifi is fast in Europe), and air conditioned (Perfect as it was super hot), and have free continental breakfast (with a few hot dishes and boiled eggs).... First stay at this lovely hotel for five nights. Loved staying at this property. Great location! Quick taxi ride from Gare du Nord. Lobby is nice and as others have mentioned, there is a complimentary open bar available - includes good range of teas, a coffee machine and more. Free mini bar in room very handy for me, saved me... This is a lovely little hotel just minutes from the metro station. The room was really clean and got cleaned everyday and towels etc stocked up. 5* to housekeeping! There were free mini bar in room and downstairs in reception with free snacks at your pleasure. The breakfast was average, continental style I.e croissants and cereals. Overall the staff were... Great little boutique hotel in a good location. We were very pleased with our room on the second floor, (there is a lift to all floors) it was extremely clean and more than adequate size for the time we spent in the room. The hotel is really well decorated, with some nice touches. There is a free soft drink mini... More

Having never visited Paris before, trying to find a hotel seemed a minefield but I came across this one, reviews were very good, the price was excellent, the location seemed good for the metro. So we booked it for 4 nights trip that included a short break taking in a game at the Uefa 2016 tournament. Room size was small... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
