Very good hotel. Excellent bed (soft) and pillows, and very comfortable. Helpful and obliging staff. Good breakfast. But the room is small and you can hear the other guests out the window. And in my room the shower was broken... bath only in the tub.

The location is really nice, right between Sorbonne and Museum de Cluny and Luxemburg Garden. Enjoyed it very much. Big minus: they were changing the floors every single morning during our stay. It's an old building so the noise was just crazy, especially between 8 and 10 in the morning. The reception were told about it and did nothing. They...

I booked 5 nights in this hotel on easter 2017. Prices are not cheap but considering the period and the position are acceptable. Rooms are little but cleaned, quiet and well furnished. Just few meters in front of my widow sited in the 6th floor of the building I can see Sorbonne University. Not far then 100 mt walking there...

Spent a weekend here in April. It is on a quieter street right next to the university. I liked the location because it was close to many restaurants and exhibits but not on the noisy main streets. Room was quite enough for two people in terms of size but still would be characterized as small compared to even other parts...

The stay at the hotel was phenomenal. We arrived around 6am after taking a overnight flight. From the moment we stepped foot into the hotel, everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. The front desk staff tried to expedite getting a room prepared for us, gave us tea and croissants and even showed us places we could go walk to stretch...

This is a great location, right by lots of restaurants in St Michel as well as the Pantheon and Jardin du Luxembourg. The rooms weren't spacious but were clean and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The experience was good. The hotel is very well located, clean and the team was very nice. Just few issues during my stay that could have been improved: * When we arrived in the room (it was quite early, around 1pm). The bottle of water provided by the hotel was open, and half empty. When we went to the lobby,...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
