The Prince de Condé is housed in an 18th century narrow town house and has only 11 bedrooms, making it one of the most exclusive secret hotels in Paris ! With only 11 rooms, the Prince de Condé is an exclusive address in a 13th century old street, where the Queen Margot and D’Artagnan lived. Located in the heart of the secretive part of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, guests find themselves surrounded by art galleries in the shadow of the famous École des Beaux-Arts. An antique bookshop desk, woodwork floor, Zuber traditional wall papers blend singularly with modern art from Marco Del Re by Gallery Maeght in Paris. A Louis XVI style bench reworked by artist Magali Jeambrun for the Prince de Condé hotel encapsulates the soul of this exclusive Parisian address.

very nice service, amazing experience, we would recommend for our next stay the location is just perfect, very close to every central monuments and museums of Paris, breakfasts were very generous, and the hotel is very quiet, definitely a good choice

This hotel has bed bugs. On the day we arrived (we hadn't even spent the night) we noticed bed bugs in our bed. There were live bugs as well as stains on the sheets from bed bugs. We notified the night-shift guy at the front desk he came to our room, took a picture of the bed bugs, didn't even kill it, and told us all he could do was give us a new room and he we would have to wait until morning when his boss weighed in. He refused to call professionals about the bugs or take any action. He was very rude and implied that we brought the bugs to the hotel, despite only having just arrived (we found no signs of the bugs pre or post this hotel). Judging by the shape of our first room and the room we were moved to, we were given the worst room in the hotel, probably one they don't normally book. Not only did the hotel refuse to provide any compensation to us but they charged us for our night of bed bugs. They cost us an entire nights sleep, hundreds of dollars in laundry, cleaning supplies, and extra transporation, and precious time. They also destroyed all comfort and peace of mind for the entire rest of our trip, as we constantly worried about whether we had contracted bed bugs from the hotel and brought them wherever we went. Even if it weren't for the bed bugs, this hotel is in very poor condition. It needs to be completely remodeled, yet they are operating it anyway. I overheard another couple complaining that their air conditioning wasn't working. The rooms are dingy, poorly, lit, and poorly decorated. I don't know how they meet the requirements for a 4-star hotel but there are 3-star hotels better than this dump. When we moved to the new room, the iron doorknob came clean off the bathroom door and fell on my wife's foot. The sinks don't drain. The shower head was broken. The TV remote had corroded batteries in it, and it didn't work. The pictures of the hotel make it look like there is dining in the cave, but the cave is closed off and not part of operations. There's no room service. There is virtually no service; the hotel runs on a skeleton crew. It sounded liked the hotel was purchased by a new owner and they are waiting for approvals to do construction and remodel but are operating the dilapidated building in the meantime. Which is probably why they don't care about treating their patrons like dirt.

My friend and I stayed here and had a terrible experience. There were a lot of things wrong. We couldn’t open the door to our room, we had to have them open it whenever we needed to get in. Was given internet code and when we did it didn’t work. No customer service to speak of. The worst part was, we went out late and returned to our room and went to sleep. When I woke up I saw there was blood on my sheets and it was not from me. The manager came up with the housekeeper to look at the sheets. She said she changed them before we got there and the manager (John) was happy with that. I of course, was not. I held up my arms and said, I’m not bleeding anywhere. He offered no apology or concern whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else. Disgusting and they could care less.

While I am accustomed to cramped rooms and older style buildings in Paris, my stay was wholly uncomfortable and I wont return It was 30 degrees and the AC in the room did not work. There were no fans provided and leaving the windows open only made it loud. The wifi was a challenge - the upload speed was unacceptable at less than 1mb, meaning a single photo took ages to post. Though the bathroom looked recently renovated, the shower head was partially blocked and spewed water all directions, most notably on the floor outside the shower. I did appreciate there was 2 bottles of free water in the room, and the location is close to many cafes and sights.

Hotel was in PERFECT location, near lots of wonderful cafes, multiple metro stations, laundry and popular Paris sights. While room size was on the smaller side and air conditioning was not terribly efficient, you have to realize you’re in Paris, not the US! The bed was one of the most comfortable hotels beds we’ve ever had. Would not hesitate to book here again.

We booked a room in this 4 star hotel because it is 20 metres from the studio flat I lived in for a year when I was 18. Rue de Seine is a deligtful and lively street. We were told on arrival that the room was "not available" and we had been relocated to the 3 star sister hotel (Prince de Conti) in the very dull rue de Guenegaud where they attempted to charge us the same price (ultimately unsuccessfully, but only because we kept challenging the receptionists about it). Did they ever have a room for us in the Hotel Prince de Conde or was it scam to fill an empty room in adifferent hotel.? Don't touch this place with barge a pole.

You couldn’t dream a better location. The Prince de Conde is a nice, small and quaint hotel, with a lot of character. Most of the touristic attractions are easily accessible within a walking distance and the breakfast is really good. The only reason we did not give 5/5 is because it’s quite noisy. However, we had a very nice stay

We booked this hotel last minute for 2 nights. Right at the center of Paris, in a very trendy district and at walking distance from most hightlights. Small hotel, but all fine. There is constantly someone at the reception. When I read the previous comments, I was perhaps a bit worried, but relax - all fine. Breakfast is more than enough and the room was quite spacious for Paris standards. All and all very good and recommandable.

The Prince le Conde was a little gem of a hotel in a ideal location for all sightseeing. A lovely boutique hotel with Beautiful bedrooms. We found the staff very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was included in our price and although it was continental, there was a good selection of fruit, cereal, breads and pastries. A 5 minute walk to the Louvre and 10 minutes from Notre Dame it couldn’t be in a better location. 5 minutes walk to Latin Quarter for good food and lively entertainment. We would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Paris again.

The customer service at this hotel is disastrous. We were kept at the hotel's closed doors one night for 15 minutes in freezing cold weather cause the front desk man had decided to take a nap. The same person didn't give us ice as he said there's no ice in the hotel. Well I knew he was lying cause another person (a decent chap who seemed to have Indian background) had given us some the day before. The hotel rooms are dark and fairly small, but the location is fantastic. Overall, the worst thing about this hotel is customer service which is awful and pretty much everyone were rude except for the Indian front desk man and the very nice lady who were looking after room service and cleaning.
