So disappointed in this hotel. It was very highly recommended, looked cute, and the price and location were right, but it FAILED to deliver. First, I made a mistake in booking the room, forgetting our last leg was an overnight flight. I emailed and called immediately, but they would not change it and charged me for the extra night's stay....

Great Budget hotel. Amazing location.10steps to the metro.Surroundings have great cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping area. Courteous, polite, helpful staff. Not a king size breakfast, but fairly substantial. Sweet/colourful rooms with fairly decent amenities like refrigerator and digital locker.comfy bed with clean sheets. Quiet rooms, except the cop car siren at times can be very unnerving. Awesome WiFi connection. Clean Bathrooms,clean/average amenities with good...

Really liked the locale near metro, low cost, ease of getting in and out (much like an apartment), English speaking managers, safe feel. Sound carried between walls and down halls but a sound app on my Kindle helped even out unwanted noises.

Paris can be a charming place or just another ugly big city so picking up a hotel is one of the factors that can make your visit a nice one. This hotel has a nice location walking in different you are distance from vital areas and you have cafes, restaurants just few steps away. Bus station juts a cross the...

The Hotel Roma Sacre Coeur was recommended to me on the basis of it being an affordable, well positioned hotel with clean rooms. Suffice to say two of the three promises were delivered. The hotel did have it's negatives but it also had it's positives. Location: The location of the Hotel Roma Sacre Coeur cannot be disputed as excellent. Located...

Hotel was very convenient to the metro, with very friendly and helpful staff, very intimate breakfast room with little room to move around. Overall the theme of the hotel was love but sadly the love affair had that faded feel of two lovers meeting up in the autumn of their lives. The room we stayed in had no shower screen...

The hotel is nice, the staff was very kind and the location was perfect. You stay so to say right above the metro station Lamarck Caulaincourt of line 12 and within 10 to 15 minutes you can walk up to Sacré Coeur

We spent here 4 nights, the hotel is very well located, right on the metro station. It is in Montmartre, 600 m from Sacre Coeur. It is also possible to walk to the city centre (3-4 km). Hotel is looking very used, there is kind of art painting in the rooms and everywhere. I would rather prefer to have clean...

The hotel itself is historical! The convenience of some tourist spots just a few meters walk and the nearest subway station is literally below the hotel! Value for money! However if you want a hearty breakfast, you have to find other resto to satisfy your cravings since the place does not serve a buffet breakfast. It is a boutique type...

In Montmarte, just a short walk from a metro station and a few miles from many of the major sites of Paris, the Hotel Roma Sacre Coeur is a convenient and safe place to stay during your adventures in the French capital. For travelers on a budget, this location offers reasonable rooms, a pleasant and helpful staff (who are available...

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.

“Rooms are fine as a place to sleep, shower, and store your things between adventures in the French capital. For larger families, this may not be an ideal option --- but for a small party (1-2 people) this hotel worked out quite nicely.”
