I had great experience here. Lovely view of the river. The rooms are solid nicely appointed. Location is absolutely fantastic, right by the Eiffel Tower and other hotspots. The GM Antoine is wonderful, so helpful and friendly, and this trickles down to all the staff it seems
no wifi for the whole week and there is nothing they can do about it. Can't check out , can't get a refund , no manager , staff do not want to share hot spot for 2 minutes for urgent email :(. As a Accor member for such a long time this was the most shocking experience for me. Its 2022 and there is no wifi , seriously?
My review can be brief. Hôtel Mercure is quite a standard Mercure hotel, nothing more, nothing less. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very small (but hey, this is Paris after all), but clean and the breakfast was fine. I was glad there were scrambled eggs and salmon. To be honest that's more than I expected. The breakfast room was small with not many tables, but luckily it was not crowded when we had breakfast. I do have to say the bathroom was very good.
I can't say enough good things about the hotel. Before coming we were worried about the room being too small, but it is more than spacious enough with a king size bed. The shower is excellent. They were very accommodating, from providing a shaving kit, utensils, delivering lost luggage to our room, and providing directions and recommendations. The location is close to everythingn and one of the more affordable boutique hotels. We'd definitely stay here again.
Good location for a Rugby weekend in Paris. Clean rooms with free wifi, cheerful bar and restaurant, and fresh tasty breakfast. Staff are courteous and helpful. Close to the the Eiffel Tower and other tourist attractions.
Large room, great wiew across to Siene. Warm and with good arrival amenities (water, coke, juice) and nespresso machine. Nice to have separated toilet and shower area. Breakfast was OK, not the best or worst. Reception helpful and on hand always. Overall location great with Javel Andre Citroën Metro 2mins walk. Eiffel is 25min walk. Mall with shopping 10mins walk. Fridays there is a lovely local market down the end of the road (other way to Siene and 10min walk) Not too many restaurants nearby which was a shame. Book eiffel way before you go ( week before is best! Unless you want summot then go and queue) 1.25min to Disneyland, 2 metro and RER train, very easy!
This hotel was the biggest blunder I did in my complete tour booking through my Travel Agent. I just had in mind Mercure and Eiffel and was all the time looking at the pictures of Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower Hotel. It was a big shock when I arrived at the hotel, as it was no where near to what I had seen on TA. So it is a word of caution that there are a lot of properties of Mercure in Paris and please don't get confused like me. However in regards to the hotel, the rooms were TINY, with not even proper space to open your luggage or walk around, leaving aside the probability of an extra bed. The bed size is queen or maybe even smaller, as it was difficult for to adjust. The breakfast layout was very limited with hardly any vegetarian options. The staff is the biggest positive of the hotel, those guys were very co-operative in every sense. The location is decent, as a lot of restaurants and shopping areas are at walking distance. The property is good for people travelling on business tours alone.…
the staff was really nice and helpful, since we travelled during strike and a lot of public transportation did not work properly. the room was nice, we got room upgrade to privilege room for our honeymoon and it was really spacious and nice. the location is quite good, still need to walk some distance to eiffel tower though.
To be absolutely honest, the only good part about the hotel is its location which is right next to the metro and train station and about 2km away from Eiffel tower. The hotel staff is courteous and helpful but it does not justice to the wonderful photos which lured us into booking this hotel instead of the novotel(which is better looking and closer to Eiffel tower). The rooms are oddly shaped with a long passage. The toilet and the bathroom are at opposite ends of this long passage. I hate rooms dont have parallel walls, this one had walls at angles which killed it for me. Plus, there is a small nothing type of a lobby. It is more like a BnB rather than a 4 star rated hotel
Amazing hotel with amazing stuff with a great attitude and friendly .. very clean rooms a little small but neat and nice a very great location a10 mins walk to tour eiffel and there is a mall in walking distance also i totally recommend it
