Hotel Brighton is a discreet hotel in the center of Paris. The staff, Front Desk, Housekeeping and Wait staff could not have been were professional and friendly. For those who do not speak French, the fact that all staff could speak English was fantastic The location is perfect. The room was comfortable and well appointed
This hotel is within walking distance to so many of Paris’ sites and shopping. it has a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower, The Tuileries, and The Louvre..The staff is also so welcoming and helpful. We can’t wait to stay at The Brighton Hotel again.
I had a bad experience at this hotel. One of the concierge staff was incredibly rude (the rest were very professional). I ended up checking out 7 nights earlier than I was supposed to. I would not recommend this hotel!
Excellent location! Clean and Comfortable room with exceptional views (5th fl) and location to premium shops and museums! Great value for luxury hotel. Next to Angelina for their delicious infamous hot chocolate!
The location is ideal but for as much as they charged (for my week-long stay between $350-$435 per night in December 2023) the service was lacking: theft, unbearable heat, lack of responsiveness of the staff to complaints regarding the same, and other unpleasant circumstances make for a poor recommendation. For example, I felt forced to decline further housekeeping for the rest of my week-long stay, which was service I expected at this price, because I did not want to lose any more of my possessions. There were a few issues but the below are the most significant that I brought to the front desk that were never resolved. I made a complaint, they promised to respond, no one did. (1) a $25 battery charger (one of those brick-like batteries) was taken from my room during housekeeping and no response to my complaint even though one was promised and I was there for multiple nights. And, more than a month later, no one has contacted me. I don't appreciate having my property (especially that I expected to use) stolen from my room or the lack of attention from the hotel. (2) in late December, the unbearable and unrelenting heat in the room left me with a choice of not being able to sleep through the night because I was soaked in sweat or open a window in the persistent rain and wind, which would have soaked the carpet and would not be a comfortable/healthy environment as the only window was just a couple feet from the bed. In response to my complaint, the front desk promised a technician would respond, but the only person who did was a staff member who had been serving breakfast (not the promised technician) who told me my heater was off (of course it was), and then left. That was the full extent of their response - no promised response from a technician and no change to the room conditions. Of note, at breakfast, I also heard other guests complaining of being unable to sleep due to excessive heat (in late December). (3) Another issue was the unwelcomed interruption. First, I was jet-lagged and wanted to nap in my room, so I put out the do not disturb sign, but illogically, the front desk then called my room, waking me up, to confirm that I didn't want to have housekeeping . What is the point of do not disturb sign then? Second, after my room had already been serviced and while I was napping, a male staff member repeatedly knocked on my door around 6 pm, waking me up only to ask me if everything was okay. That is not normal, or in my opinion an acceptable intrusion on a guest for no reason - especially at this price point for these rooms. The front desk agreed that there was no reason for someone to knock on my door at 6 pm to see if I was alright. In comparison to the above, this is a minor note, but I received no notice that there was no breakfast on Christmas Eve morning. And there were limited other options. Some communication with guests regarding holiday schedule would be appreciated. The room was clean and quiet and the location was good. So aside from the theft, heat, and unresponsiveness, it was nice? I hope whoever reads this has better luck!…
Convenient location for shopping and sightseeing (Louvre), staff are helpful and good view. Many choices of restaurants within 5 minutes walking. A memorable and enjoyable experience for my honeymoon trip.
Hotel Brighton is a great value for its location and view. It is very comfortable and clean. The wifi worked perfectly. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
An excellent stay. All our needs were met and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is to have more options on the room service menu for children. But a minor suggestion on an otherwise lovely stay.
Great stay. Best location for a short stay. Every time I come to Paris, it's my favorite hotel. Great service. The housekeeping team does a wonderful job. I will recommend the breakfast buffet. And you have the option to book rooms for family
What a friendly, welcoming hotel in a perfect location. Stayed here as a family of 4 for 2 nights. We selected this hotel as its right next to the Christmas Fair and very close to the Louvre. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much for them. Breakfast was very good and the amount of food was plentiful. Would use again.
