"An unique view in the heart of Paris" The Hôtel Brighton, built on Rue de Rivoli by Lord Egerton at the beginning of the 19th century, became one of the capital’s leading hotels, attracting many British customers. This district of Paris, which is now the 1st arrondissement, was very popular with British clients on The Grand Tour, an initiatory trip across Europe and sometimes as far as Asia with the aim of completing the artistic and cultural education of the young middle classes. The hotel has preserved a large number of antique elements down the years, beginning with the period mosaic with the words "Hôtel Brighton" on the ground beneath the arcades of Rue de Rivoli in front of the hotel. Inside, the marble columns in the hall, the sculpted high reliefs in the bar, the set of antique mirrors and the many French windows, the tall ceilings on the "noble floors" and the exposed beams in the rooms on the upper storeys all bear witness to the history of the site and the people who gave it its charm. But what makes the Hôtel Brighton a truly exceptional place is the breathtaking 180° panorama. To the left, the Louvre, once a royal palace, today a museum, the Tuileries Gardens opposite and the Place de la Concorde to the right with the Eiffel Tower in the background. One of your best memories of Paris will be this unique view.

We loved the location and our room was perfect. The main reason I'm writing a review is because I was extremely impressed by the kind and courteous staff. I didn't catch the manager's name but (in addition to being a fellow NYC marathon participant) he went above and beyond the call of duty in making sure we were comfortable. A very enjoyable stay and highly recommended!!

Hotel Brighton is located in the center of the 1st arrondissment and our room on the 3rd floor provided stunning views over the Tuilerie Gardens and over to the Louvre on one side and the Eiffel Tower to the other. The room and bathroom were both generous in size by European standards and beautifully decorated. The hospitality was warm and the breakfast room and offering perfect in every way. An absolute gem of a find, we will be back for the next special occasion!

Our stay at Hotel Brighton was absolutely perfect in every way. Fantastic location - we walked to many places which was very convenient; Top-notch staff - every single person working there was extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way for us and it was much appreciated since this was our first time in France; Historic charm but with a cool modern lobby and lovely rooms - everything was very clean and well maintained. Overall a great place that I highly recommend.

Beautifully appointed lobby, perfect location, extremely responsive staff. A lovely small hotel. The desk arranged for cars to pick us up and take us back to CDG airport. Walking distance to Everything! Would definitely stay again!
