Detailed Reviews
We had a good stay at Citadines Republique. The property has a fully dated and sometimes broken room, however the beds themselves are great and have clearly been upgraded. We had a very good sleep. With a child, I recommend asking for room 111. It is more space and open plan, vs the smaller rooms where a cot would not be able to be placed with you in the same room. The only thing to check is your need for a bath, because this is a disability designed room, there is a large wetroom style shower but no bath. For us, we didn’t mind, but others might. There’s no view at this hotel, but it’s warm and secure and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils and appliances. We would stay again with Citadines but perhaps in a more modern building.

This aparthotel is one of few economical places for 3 or 4 adults in Paris. The neighborhood has access to several metro lines. Many local restaurants are very good. There are several small grocery stores nearby.
The apartment is worn but clean. The sheets are good quality. Before we arrived I filled out a welcome email and asked for extra towels. We received 4. Cleaning was on day 4 of an 8 day stay. We received 3 towels.
There are 2 clothes washing machines (5 euro) and 1 dryer (4 euro). They are operated by an app.
Easy to control heat in the living room and bedroom. Also, a tv in each room with at least 1 English channel. A towel warmer was useful in the bathroom. For hot water in the shower, it took a few minutes to arrive, but there was plenty of hot water. The shower has a small glass wall. We brought a shower curtain and 2 suction cups with hooks to keep the water in the very tall tub. Shampoo and lotion was provided. No body/hand soap.
It's a good hotel. Overall clean.

The location was very good and the room comfortable. It was adequately clean. Heater worked super. Hot water takes forever, but it's good. The shower is very weird, no curtain, not enough glass. The bathroom gets wet. On top of that, they do not clean your room. Good selection of English speaking channels. It was quiet. Check-in was quick and easy.
Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafés around. Metro stops too. It was a perfect basecamp camp for five days exploring Paris.

Terrible service, they left us without a room, check in was much later than promised! Rude attendants giving no response. People passed by while we waited for the apartment! People refused to give answers to our questions when we asked about the rooms

Very nice room. Much larger than many I had considered. Staff was very helpful with late checkout. Good location near a main intersection but no noticeable noise (seventh/top floor). Nice neighborhood.

We spent Christmas 2004 in Paris, staying at the Citadines Apart'Hotel, 75 bis. avenue Parmentier.
We had a lovely little studio apartment with everything you could wish for and very warm for the cold conditions of a Paris winter, and very reasonably priced.
Close to several patisseries, a few restuarants and a small supermarket as well as being only a three minute walk to the met, on which you can get yourself all around Paris, a great system.
The staff were wonderful and only to happy to help us in any way they could, all spoke english, a big plus to two Aussies not fluent in French. We had a great Christmas, and can't wait to return some day and enjoy the hospitality of the Citadines, Parmentier once again.

We stayed 5 nights at this apart-hotel. Typical residential area. Rooms are small, bathroom is clean and adequate, having a kitchenette is the biggest plus. Location is good, very close to Metro station. Excellent local food stores are nearby on Oberkampf. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Lack of A/C, street noise and so so beds are the downside. Short walking distance to la Place de la République with many decent restaurants although we walked everywhere else as well. Overall not bad. Ask for a room on the top floor overlooking a quiet back street not the busy Avenue Parmentier.

We booked directly with Citadines at a great early bird prepaid rate staying 8 nights. We have stayed at other Citadines in Paris so knew what to expect. We visit Paris often and wanted a location a little further out from 3 or 4er but close to the Marais so thought we would give the "Republic" location a try. This hotel states its name/location as "Volitaire Republic" but the reality is that is a 20 min walk from Republic but only about 50 meters or 2 minutes from the Parmentier metro station. Stairs at Parmentier are few and there is an escalator which makes it easy for travellers with luggage. Downside is it is on Metro line 3 - meaning to get to Gare du Nord you must connect from Parmentier to Republic, change lines and then on to Gare du Nord. This connection through Republic is required to connect to Line 1 at Chatelet for museums (along the Seine). This is not ideal - but the trade offs may be worth it: better room rate in good 3.5* "newer" hotel with larger rooms and kitchen facilities (we do not use these), off the tourist trail and higher price bars and restos that go with them. Adjacent to Parmentier is Rue Oberkampf with a plethora of very good bistros and bars. To the hotel: we stayed on the 4th floor in a spacious jr suite. Bedding minimal and thankfully the heater worked. Pillows were very uncomfortable and fell flat and stayed that way all night. Mattress was firm but with some cushion. Cleaning every 3 days as this is an apt. hotel. Staff spoke exc. english and all were well trained and professional. Breakfast was a bonus we received as repeat customers - and was typical continental with hard boiled eggs and cheese. Immediately outside the front door of hotel is a bakery, grocer, restaurants and bars. Within 2 blocks there are many of the same. This hotel is a 3-3.5 hotel by North American standards.

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Paris for my 50th. Arriving on an early flight we got there at 11am. We were allowed into our room immediately. It was all spotlessly clean and everything in good order. Reception extremely helpful and helped us book our return transfer to the airport. Well placed for the parmentier metro station and there are a lot of cafés and bistros around though we had bad service at le anemone so be warned! Highly recommend citadine. Clean efficient and an excellent base for exploring Paris. Local dia supermarket just 5 minutes away had a good selection of cheese and wine and open til 9 every night.

By the subway (Metro), it will take around half an hour from our Residence to get to the Eiffel Tower.
Hola, Angels,
He visitado este hotel. He estado perfecto!
No there aren't but they have a wheelchair lift as soon as you walk in the doors to the left (a lot of people use it for prams & luggage) & all apartments from that floor are accessible by another lift. All hotel rooms are stair free.
Yes, they have a front desk but it's better to buy directly at the metro station. You can go to the Parmentier metro station which is 150 mts from Citadines Republique. They are nice and they speak english.
