A charming, yet luxury experience. Room looked like it could be a post card. Staff was nothing short of accommodating, welcoming, and hospital. Great location, as it’s walking distance to l’arc de triomphe. Very close to metro station as well. I would 100 percent stay again!
Never have I ever had such a faboulous Charming stay in Paris. The service of everyone was pleasant and great. Upgrade of our room. The breakfast was as tastfull as you can wish for. Highly recomment to stay at this chic hotel. Also location location location!
Lovely small friendly hotel, good location near the Arc De Triumph. very clean with excellent service, nice breakfast choices,, super comfy bed with large en-suite. Lift. If it had an evening dinner menu we would have eaten there also as our card was cloned in the nearby bar/ cafe Highly recommend this hotel
I’ve visited Paris many times but this was my first stay in Hotel Balmoral. It is now my home from home in Paris. I had a balcony suite with my teenage grandson and it was just perfect. The room, the views, the space, the cleanliness, everything was wonderful. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of variety, both hot and cold. Staff were all so helpful and friendly especially Christian at reception, nothing was too much trouble. Balmoral is 2 minutes walk from metro station and 3 minute walk from L’arc de Triomphe and the Champs Eleysé. 3 or 4 restaurants in same street if you don’t want to wander far in the evenings. The elevator is indeed small but there is one and it works so no complaints. Our rooms were serviced every day and it really was like coming home in the evenings. We really loved our stay here and will definitely be back again very soon.…
This hotel was in a great location, easy walking to all sites and yet quite and off the main drag. The breakfast was very good lots of varity and we sat outdoor in the court yard each morning which was beautiful. The staff were very polite and helpful. We had a regular classic room, it was clean and had lots of space. We had no complaints about this hotel.
We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location near to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Eiysees. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Hotel situated in a prime location for hop on bus Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe. Minimal walking needed on a very hot day! Close to metro too. Hotel was a cool haven! They upgraded us to a prestige room as it was my daughters delayed by covid 30th birthday present. Super view over the street. Very quiet, very comfortable twin beds, large soft towels! Breakfast was plentiful for our needs. Largely continental but hot option of scrambled egg, sausage and bacon too. Loved the iced tea and coffee making facilities in the lounge with a mini muffin when you needed a place to rest and cool down. Very friendly and helpful members of staff at the desk. Had the best time and can’t wait to visit this hotel again!
Booked this hotel for me and my boyfriend who turned 40 the same weekend. I paid 3000kr (30euro) per night plus 170kr (17 euro) extra tax, thought it’s gonna be a luxury hotel but it was not. We got a bad feeling directly when we stepped into the hotel. It was worn out and also the elevator wasn’t functional so we had to walk three floors with our big bags. The room was ok with a big and fresh bathroom but I also paid extra for that.. The bed though was very unstable and squeaky. The breakfast, there wasn’t much to choose from. No vegetables and hardly no plain bread. We wanted less of the sweets and more of the greens! A lot of the food ran out so we needed to wait for refills, and the staff seemed very stressed.
Having returned to the Balmoral after 9 years, we were so pleasantly surprised that the renovation has been such a success. From the minute one walks into reception, to a week later on departure, the service, friendliness, service and professionalism is wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will be back.
I love this hotel. It’s in a great location, very close to the Arc but somehow still on a quiet street. There are tons of restaurants and cafes nearby and a very short walk to the metro. Breakfast at the hotel was great, tons of options. And what I love most of all is how friendly the entire staff is. We’ve stayed here twice now and will stay here again. One piece of advice is that the classic rooms are pretty small. We upgraded to a prestige double room the second time we stayed and were much happier.
