The Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel garners mixed reviews, with its prime location being a highlight for many guests, offering easy access to the Eiffel Tower and metro. However, opinions on the hotel's value and service vary, with some visitors lamenting high prices and lackluster staff interactions.
While the atmosphere and available amenities like the bar receive praise, critiques often focus on dated rooms and a need for more in-room conveniences. Cleanliness also receives inconsistent feedback, particularly regarding the state of the bathrooms and housekeeping efficiency.

Hotel check in was lovely although the first member of staff had confirmed to us that our booking would not affect our room( Eurostar had added an extra night on but not within the same booking) so we continued up to the room on the 28th floor.
Elevator was reasonably quick all operated by your room card - upon entering the room the initial hallway to the bed was quite narrow we had a baby so pram, changing bag as well as our own bags to bring through one at a time. The bed was a little soft for my normal liking but it wasn’t uncomfortable but the pillows were not great in my opinion for how much the stay cost.
The air con did not work very well either and the room was quite humid and hot during our stay even during the end of February so couldn’t imagine what it would be like during the summer.
Upon returning at 11pm on our second night - travelled on Metro & RER from Disney we first of all discovered our room key did not work, went down to reception who reinstated the key and assured us our belongings would still be in there .
When my partner entered the room low and behold our travel cot had been removed along with all our my partners makeup, all of our toiletries, straighteners and some of our clothes which had been left out! Contacted reception once again who then proceeded with looking for where this had gone. Took over an hour for this to be returned to us! We then had to try and get our baby to sleep so was a bit ridiculous this happened and to also top it off they left our 2 travel bags in the cupboard so obviously hadn’t bothered to look in here! Lucky that the room had not been used by someone else before we returned! If you are travelling here please be aware of where you leave your belongings I do not blame the reception staff for this error entirely as the cleaners should have checked who was booked in next (as confirmed the previous night this was still us?).
The breakfast and dinner menu were excellent there were plenty of options to choose from and the food was delicious - very tasty. We could see the top of the Eiffel Tower from our room along with other building across the way.
Apart from the room error all staff were helpful and spoke fluent English.

Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel, is located quite close to the Eiffel tower and is convenient if you would like to walk around. There are a few shopping centres and a big supermarket in a walking distance. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas but was very crowded. Teemed with very big groups, the waiters at the breakfast buffet could not really do much and there would often be a long queue at the entrance. They were of course very supportive and did not stop people who had forgotten to bring along their vouchers from entering the breakfast area. The breakfast was nutritious and satisfying. I especially liked the automatic pancake-maker which the few children around loved.
The room I had was spacious but at the back of the hotel so I did not enjoy a view from the room. It did have an ironing table and iron which is quite helpful. There was a safe in one of the drawers, a small fridge and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had a good bathtub and a separate walk-in shower to give you a choice of a relaxing time or a quick shower. I asked for hair-conditioner and they sent a few to my room.
All in all, I recommend the hotel to busy business travellers.

Good arrival
Location is great
Check in process was ok
Room was one of the largest on the floor (per the emergency plan), but not upgraded. Most other rooms on the floor were upgraded.
Old , rough carpet.
USB ports did not work
Limited power points in the room
But larger than a typical French hotel room.
Temp was higher than comfy; they tried to fix but just ended up bringing us a fan , which mostly did the job.
“City view” was just that; view of non-descript buildings, but with a view to the south eastern horizon.
Breakfast was very ample and family friendly. Same thing every day. Was a little crazy in the breakfast room when it got very busy on the weekends.
Location of the hotel is the best part. Right along the Seine, 15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. Plenty of taxis always out front and quick arrival for Uber. Proximity to metro stations is good, but Metro was on strike during our visit, so did not use.
The neighborhood is quiet, but has shopping (Mall and grocery store) within a 10 min walk).
Dominique at the concierge desk gets a special thank you for helping us plan our days and making restaurant reservations for us.
Definitely would recommend this hotel for families that need a bit more space for a reasonable price.

I booked this hotel for a 2 night stay with my husband and 1 year old daughter. Upon making the reservation, I stated that we required a cot for my daughter.
Upon arriving at the hotel, we were overcome by an overpowering smell of airfresher (this can be smelt throughout the hotel).
During check-in, we asked if our request for a cot had been taken into account and were informed that someone would be up shortly to install it. I honestly don't see the point in highlighting this when making the booking if it's not going to be taken into account and made available upon our arrival.
After a short wait, someone brought the cot up, only to discover it was broken, so they had to go and get another one that had holes in the side and half the mattress was missing (see photos). We said that it was unacceptable and wanted a full sized mattress. The person seemed baffled and thought that it was normal for half the mattress to be missing. He said he would call a colleague and replace the cot.
To cut a long story short, we waited well over an hour, in which time my husband went down to reception to see what was going on, only for them to call me in the room just after and ask to confirm what was going on... Seriously?!
We were eventually provided with a so called 'luxury' cot that was almost half the size of a standard one, in which my daughter just fit...
The first night and following morning our bathroom was flooded by a leaking sink and shower. The shower door did not close completely and therefore leaked water everywhere. This is not a new problem as there is mold on the carpet under the door and in the bathroom. The grouting in-between the tiles in the shower were mouldy and could do with a good clean.
The bed was comfy, but the old metal frame was noisy and springs were popping throughout the night at the slightest move.
We notified reception in the morning before heading out and when we returned in the evening, reception couldn't tell us if anything had been done. They offered to change our room, but for one night it was too much hassel and our daughter needed feeding and putting to bed.
The breakfast was basic and not worth the price. I've had better breakfasts in a 3 star hotel.
Our stay was hindered by a lack of customer service which is extremely disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Even though we were offered to change rooms, the receptionist could not confirm we would not have the same issues. We were hoping to use this hotel every couple of months when visiting family 2 minutes down the road, but we will not be staying here again because of this, and instead will opt to stay in hotel where customer service exists.
An over-priced hotel which I regret booking.

Good morning Mellissa, Many thanks for sharing your concerns (and the pictures) following your stay in our hotel. I am deeply sadness to learn that you did not receive a good assistance from your arrival in our hotel regarding your demand for the baby, and I can understand your disappointment. I have transmitted your comment to my department managers concerned (General Housekeeping, Front Office Manager, and Technical Manager) as we found the room number and the dates of your stay. It is important for me that all our guests are treated with a great attention and feel welcome in our hotel, that's why your feedback is consequential for me. I really hope that we will be able to regain your trust during a next stay to the Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel, Thank you and cordial greetings,

I took my niece here for her birthday and wasn’t too sure what to expect, having never been to Paris before. But wow the hotel is stunning, modern and super clean. I was worried when they said we were on the 25th floor! But the views of the river seine from the window completely changed my mind.
The breakfast was great and in the room there was always fresh bottles of water in the fridge and tea and coffee on the side with a kettle.
The pool and sauna were very clean and all the staff were really friendly. One of the maids was a bit rude but that was maybe a miscommunication due to a language barrier I’m not too sure.
The hotel was also in walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, about 10 minute walk and also not too far from the Arc de triomphe. Most places we ate around the hotel were lovely and bars were friendly, it wasn’t too cold considering it was March so that was nice too. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Very bad hotel,Accor should shut down such hotel. The hotel is ruining the name of Novotel chain.First of all the hotel do not have any Eiffel Tower view room.Secondly the Front desks staff was very unfriendly and looks under trained. On arrival we see very inappropriate drawing on the front deck and staff of two shift didn't care to erase it. It’s on our request they erase it.The front desks staff don’t know or don’t want to speak English.Apart from this, the room were very small epically the door to the toilet. We asked for no room cleaning for the day and they refused to give water bottles saying they give just 2 bottles on arrivals but the next day they the lady who cleaned our room gave our two water bottles more. They gave cheap disposable cup in room and when asked for glasses ,they said you may break the glass and hurt yourself, the front desk talks zero sense. The hotel refuse to give print outs and asked for 50 cents per pages. In this pandemic time where travels need to carry a few documents, a big international chain of hotel can print 6 covid test reports for guests with 3 rooms for 3 nights.Even the breakfast was not so good hardly any vegetarian options and the fruits will make you puke.

We stayed here as a couple for 2 nights, 17th-19th January. Firstly the only good thing going for this hotel is that it’s a short 10-15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. On arrival and every other time arriving in the hotel we were over powered with an air freshener which was far too strong, similar to a cheap perfume, it would give you a headache. Also we found strange for mid/late January, the Christmas decorations were still on full force. This instantly put us of the place, we’re not fussy but this seems just lazy. The room was in serious need of updating. Rubbish was stuffed down beside furniture, and it didn’t look like it was recent. The USB ports didn’t work, the shower gave warm/hot water when it fancied, ok if you want a cold shower after you’ve been out in the cold all day. The bath exterior had a loose tile hanging off and the sink of a crack the full width of it. The bedroom ceiling we could see the pipe work above through it, just shocking for Novotel standards. Hairdryer was something from the 1980’s. The bar of the hotel is disappointing, we went in for a drink after evening dinner. Utter crap, holes in the seating upholstery to name a few.
We understand it was cheaper than most other Paris hotels, but we atleast expect the Novotel standard.
Will for sure visit Paris again but will not be staying at this hotel, in fact it has put us off from staying at any Novotel again.

My first impression of this hotel was very negative due to the fact that I was assigned the wrong room at check in, as I booked a superior room with a double sofa bed and a view and got a single sofa bed with bad view, I went again to the reception and had to wait in line for 10 minutes to get a new room with blocked view on the 6th floor. I was about to leave the hotel at that point and on the next day I met the BEST reciptioist Mr Mika who promised to correct the mistake and showed me a room on the 30th floor with a single sofa bed but a great Seine view and the Eiffel tower 🗼, we loved the views although the room has not been renovated as the one on 6th floor, but still a much better room, if it were not to Mika, I would have rated this hotel a 2 star, THANK U MIKA.
Breakfast fast was average with a 10 minutes waiting time to be seated on average and average buffet.
The egg station was served well by Sonia who makes the omelets.
If U need to buy a SIM Card, go directly to Orange office which is around the corner and tell them your needs exactly as they tend to sell U the most expensive one.
Try to get a top floor room for a better view.

Booked 3 days before with (last minute.com)
for a 3 night break flying from Manchester
I have previously stayed here before in 2013 and knew the location was ideal
10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.
5 mins to metro
We were on the 24th floor with a window view of the tower.
Twin room with tv, Aircon, shower over bath, safe in wardrobe (free), iron, ironing board, hairdryer (not the best)
Beds comfy, rooms cleaned everyday.
Fridge
Kettle but it was only the bottom part where you put it onto so I presume you have to ask for it at reception.
Not much storage room ( a small wardrobe and no drawers, but fine for a short trip.
Fitness suite, pool and sauna were all free, but swimming must be booked as limited numbers due to covid.
We didn't book breakfast this time as continental is not for us. so we just ate out every day
Check in was 2pm, we arrived early and our room was ready so they let us straight in, check out was 12pm
We bought Big bus, Eiffel Tower and Louvre tickets online direct from the main sites.
There are some other sites selling them but are more expensive, so buy direct.
Just don't lose your bus ticket as it cannot be replaced.
Overall fab, spur of the moment trip and the hotel is a great place to stay as its so close to the tower.

I stayed here for 2 nights. From the ORLY Bus, I took the metro and had stop in Bir Hakeim, I was bringing 24" luggage with me, it wasn't easy to do so. The sidewalk from there wasn't smooth. I recommend you to take stop in Charles Michels instead as it's closer.
I had to check in more or less at 2. Check in was quick, everybody was friendly except the man who stands at the end of the elevator, I never get a smile from him, and he stared, if he could smile a bit that would be great.
I got room on 18th floor with a view of the tip of the eiffel tower. Room was big, clean and modern. The bathroom and toilet was separated, a bit odd but it's okay. Bed was big and comfy.
Breakfast was great, no complain besides salt and pepper wasn't available on every tables and the scramble egg was a bit dry. and Kudos for apparently training students who worked hard at the restaurant on 15th Feb 2020 morning.
When my friend paid a visit was also easy without hassle.
One big serious complain was somebody came to my room during odd time.
One was after I checked in during the afternoon, I didn't pay attention that somebody was knocking the door and he entered the room and left after he noticed that I was there.
Another one came around 11am on last day, she came in without knocking. Luckily I was already dressed up, she left without saying sorry whatsoever.
This is very serious issue as I NEVER EXPERIENCED IT anywhere else, even at the cheapest low class hotel in other part of the world.
If it happened twice during my stay, who knows if it happened to somebody else as well?
