The staff was very friendly and helpful. They surprised my daughter with balloons and a small birthday cake in the room when we checked in. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great variety. The quiche was especially tasty. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Don't forget to walk to the Eiffel Tower at 11pm to watch the twinkling lights. It is about an 8-10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. You don't need to be concerned about walking in the area at night. There are several cafes just around the corner in either direction and the metro is about 1 block away. Some of the rooms have a great view of the Eiffel Tower. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice room with lots of space, we were easily able to fit all of our luggage. Comfortable king sized bed with lots of pillows. Bathroom was quiet fancy and had everything we needed. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely come back !

A lovely hotel full of charm and in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Junior suit was perfect for family of 4 with 2 children. Breakfast was great and meant we could head straight out without finding food first. Front desk very helpful, booked taxis and kept our bags pre check in. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is close to many restaurants, the M8 line and Eiffel Tower. Great Location. We enjoyed our stay and were impressed about the cleanliness and friendly stuffs of the hotel. We will be coming back in future since it made our entire trip very pleasant.

Excellent boutique hotel. We walked to the Eiffel Tower. Convenience store next to the hotel. Lots of great restaurants and bars with patio seating within walking distance. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Room was large and clean. Bar on the premises.

Our room was pretty, very clean, the bed comfortable, and windows that opened for fresh air. Overall a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Paris, and located just down the street from a Michelin star restaurant that is divine. The hotel staff was responsive when we asked for wine glasses and coffee, and responded quickly when we had an issue with electric outlets and a television that didn't work.

An amazing hotel. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Lovely touches in the bedroom (the chocolate was to die for!). Wonderful big comfy bed and delicious breakfast. 10min walk to Eiffel Tower in one direction and to the Military School in the other. Bus and metro stops 2min walks.

This was my first stay and La Bourdonnais staff and hotel were amazing. Even from before my stay, they were willing to help make sure everything went smoothly. This is an incredibly safe area and would highly recommend for any solo female travelers. Super convenient for all your visit needs, whether via metro or just walking the city like I did. The hotel staff are multi-lingual, although they would be very polite when I tried to practice my French with them more when requesting their help with tickets to attractions, restaurant recommendations, or even airport transfers. The hand written welcome note and little treat from a local boulangerie were far and above. I will definitely stay here on my next trip. Reception was mediocre and not friendly or helpful. Carpet in room was filthy. Smell in reception area nauseating. Restaurant was quite good. When we went to the reception to request an additional bottle of water they replied that we had to go back to our room and bring down an empty bottle. When we asked for the nearest pharmacy they had to look this up on the internet. Five months prior to arriving we requested 2 rooms next to each other. When we arrived the 2 rooms (on the same floor) but a long hallway apart. They did offer to move us closer the next day. Really! unpack, repack & move. Not service oriented at all.

Dear R1487FPmargaretb, Following the review, several issues have been highlighted. The first one that I would like to address is regarding the team. You mentioned that they were "not friendly and helpful," which is a matter of utmost importance to me. Our team always strives to provide the best possible assistance and advice to our guests. Concerning the pharmacy, I am unsure why it was problematic for them to search online. Depending on the time and day, it is better for them to check for the nearest open pharmacy in order to provide accurate and timely information. I apologize for any inconvenience caused in this regard. Regarding the rooms, you had booked a room with a view. We only have three executive rooms with a view, and the closest ones available were 502 and 505 and they are 3 rooms appart.. I sincerely apologize if this was not made clear during the check-in process. The only alternative was to switch to another room but unfortunately, it was not available on the day of your arrival. I assure you that our staff does their best to accommodate guests' preferences to the best of their ability. Regarding the issue with the water, as we refill the bottles every day, our staff should have provided you with a replacement immediately. The response you received was clumsy and unacceptable. This does not align with the level of service we aim to provide, and I sincerely apologize for this lapse. Lastly, concerning the carpet, I apologize if it appeared dirty. The carpets were recently replaced, and the pattern may show brown stains. I want to assure you that the carpets are regularly cleaned by an external service provider. I completely understand your disappointment regarding the points you have raised, and I genuinely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
